Apparently Den's already back at work, so once again the Daily Star's been shown up as a paper that will say anything to trick punters into buying the wretched thing. Remember, according to one particularly repellent headline, Corrie now features 'sick gay sex scenes'. In reality, it was two blokes enjoying a quick snog.

impretty confident Eastenders will still be going in two months, if only because they film 2-3 months ahead of TV

You are not going to get your your current top actors in soaps as the work is too hard. You will get has beens and 'Promising' new actors looking to get a reputation.

EE is now worse than Crossroads , it's time to call it a day and give them all the boot.

Perhaps the mods could create a sticky thread entitled "Please post your repetitive 'down with EE' here" so that the all this crap about eastenders is so bad its gonna be axed can all be placed in one thread I can ignore, rather than in infect every thread like a plague. :-/

I see nothing wrong with replacing an actor with another one playing the same role. Who needs the same Michelle Fowler actress back? Get another one. These guys are ten a penny, and think they've won the lottery when they get a regular gig on a soap, paying much more than their talent is worth.

If any lippy thespian steps out of line, I say sack them toute suite and replace them. It's not difficult, and the previous actor would be forgotten in a couple of weeks. Maybe you would want to hang onto the talented ones, but I say, if in doubt, chuck em out!

If done on a regular basis, it wouldn't be such a news story with all of the associated hoo ha. They did it with Dr Who, Sam Mitchell, Tracy Barlow etc. These actors don't own the characters. If Eastenders want to bring back Grant Mitchell, why don't they just do it without making the appeals to baldy boy?

This way we get the storylines we, and the writers, want and the actors can feel free to move on to "pursue other more demanding ventures".

Sack the whole cast....Then...prosecute the lot for crimes against acting. En masse, they are to Thespianism what Fray Bentos is to haute cuisine.
