I am upgrading from a Nokia 8310 to a Samsung E700. I was wondering if anyone has used one what are they like. I have also included a link to what it looks like here

Very nice phone. No problems at all. A brilliant camera.

I have just got an E700 on an orange contract, get delivered tomorrow, I cannot wait!!

The only bad point is reading the specifications is that it is not tri-band it is only a dual band.

If you're on Vodafone, they have the Samsung e710, it's pretty much the same BUT has the added advantage of video recording and a light/flash thingy.

Yup, I use the E710 on vodafone, and it's an excellent phone. The only downisde is the battery life is abit poor (probably why they give you 2 batteries!) and needs recharging every other day.

Its pretty good on data as well, I can browse the net via GPRS via the irda port on both my pda and laptop. You can also access the phonebook, SMS, and pictures taken from the camera from the PC.

I have the E700 and it is a good fun. I upgraded from the T100...

I have has the Sony Ericsson T610 for the last few months, the camera on that as well as the screen really are poor.
I will not be using my phone in the US, so tri-band is not an issue for me.

I am counting the hours until I get the phone!
