Whats your opinions on Miranda Lambert? For those who don't know who she is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRtmXF3zLS4&NR=1

I think White Liar was her best tune, Not a patch on Carrie or Martina though.

90% in the UK won't have herd of her, she is massive in the US, She should do ads for Levis going by her Kerosene video.

Love Gunpowder and Lead.

Not as good a vocalist as Carrie but still a bloody good singer!

Carrie is the best country singer ever, but Miranda is 2nd! White Liar is AMAZING!!!! Carrie, Miranda, Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum are the only country musicians I like, but I've got Miranda's album Revolution on loads!

Old thread, I know...but I love Miranda.

Listening to Pistol Annie's "Hell On Heels" album at the moment. I'd love to see Miranda live at some point. I don't think that she's ever toured the UK.

"Platinum" is a wonderful album. It's one of my most played of the last year.

I did notice that one of the Pistol Annies Angaleena Presley was touring in the UK very recently.

I prefer her earlier material compared to her more recent stuff. Sadly I feel like she is running out of things to say with her music to where she is getting to be repetitive.

God bless you and Miranda always!!!

Holly

P.S. She's been around for ten years though and to me, that right there can be labeled an accomplishment considering the fact that plenty of acts are lucky if they can be around for five.

^ ^ I was aware of Angeleena's new album though I have yet to hear it. I might search for it on Spotify now

Fair enough I like her earlier material too. Her first three albums contain some of my favourite songs by her. For example:

Kerosene
Dry Town
New Strings
Me & Charlie Talking
What About Georgia
Fine Tune
All Kinds of Kind
Easy Living
Sin For A Sin
White Liar
Time To Get A Gun
Airstream Song
Only Prettier

Not many do but I like the single "Baggage Claim" she done a brilliant performance of this at the CMA's when it was released , it's a slightly different sound to her usual.

Heart Like Mine and of course White Liarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr are other favourites.

I do agree her albums are getting a bit repetitive with their themes though.

She's doing Country 2 Country in 2016 apparently.

I saw Little Big Town at the C2C launch last night. I'm considering getting tickets for the Friday night to see Miranda. LBT were wonderful! They're playing on the Saturday night at C2C.

I have tickets to see Miranda at C2C in March. I'm going on the Saturday night too so I'll be seeing Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town too! I'm so excited.

That's a lovely song. I love "I Hope You're The End of My Story" too.

I saw this performance of "Dear Diamond" on YouTube from her "Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars" tour. This was recorded shortly after separating from husband, Blake Shelton. She looks so sad, here

She is sooooo overrated. I'm sorry but the fact that Miranda has won ACM female artist of the year more times than the like of Carrie and Martina is clearly wrong. Carrie is the undisputed queen of country, she sings circles round Miranda and she just takes herself so seriously. Do not like her at all. Queen Carrie wins every time. Miranda actually threw a sook when carrie one female artist at the ACM. But that's alright Carrie has her 7 grammys while Miranda has 2

^^^ If the Grammys are going to be looked at, then it all comes down to my most favorite female singer because she is one who still has yet to even be touched.

God bless you and Alison Krauss always!!!

Holly (a fan of her since 1994)

P.S. She currently sits at 27 Grammy award wins. Not even any female in the non country music fields has as many as her.
