The new handset on 3

Please, Please, Please - before we begin;

I'm starting this thread to see if anyone has first hand experience of this handset - please lets not go into 3's coverage (or lack of) or general customer service issues - there's plenty of other threads covering those.

So then, anyone got this LG yet? Looks like it could be three's first 'normal' handset! Small-ish and a better battery life!

I had a play with one of these in the local 3 store and it looks quite nice. A bit bigger than some GSM clamshells but very light and it has most of the features you would expect these days except two. It has NO Bluetooth (making a hard-wired headset necessary for driving etc) and very limited storage (14MB).

In the store i tried it the signal seemed solid compared with other 3 handsets closeby that were fluctuating like crazy. Currently on offer for free with all the usual perks 3 tempt new customers with. Feedback so far has been generally quite positive on 3G forums but there have been a few comments about 2/3G switching issues....still you have the usual 14 days to try it for yourself if you are tempted by its looks.....I was but am holding off to see what else appears as the Vodafone 3G launch is imminent and T-Mobile will begin selling their 3G offering in just a few weeks.
