Recommend a handsfree kit for car?
I currently have a Visorlite kit which has started playing up. I need one for bluetooth, I have a Samsung S5600 phone and I wonder if there are any that will answer a call automatically without having to touch the kit or phone (isn't that illegal?) I don't want to pay a fortune and the last feature isn't essential. There are so many out there that any recommendations would be welcome.
And preferably one with an alternative way of charging as mine only has a car charger. Thanks. |

Isn't the Auto-Answer a feature of the phone, rather than the kit? I know it is on my Nokia. As far as I know, as long as the button you press (either on the kit or the phone in a holder) is in a fixed position its legal to press it to answer the phone.

Do you use a kit you can recommend? |

The parrot kits are nice and you can have your contacts loaded into the kit.
http://www.parrot.com/uk/products/ha...arrot-mki9200/ the latest nokia is pretty much the same http://europe.nokia.com/find-product...car-kit-ck-600 both will need to be fitted properly as they need to be wired through the stereo as it will use the speakers in your car and mute when making/Receiving a call. Or you could check ebay for the basic nokia ck7w and fit it yourself it doesnt have a display just a button with a volume control. As for charging just use a car charger. With the first 2 kits you wont actually need to look at your phone just leave it in your pocket as the dashboard display should do everything you will need to make and Receive calls. |

I use a Pama kit I bought from Halfords. It's quite old (it's one of those which had different cables to suit different models of phone, and the Bluetooth bit is one of those cables), but it still works well. I want to stream music from my phone, though, so I'm considering a Nokia CK-100 (which is the replacement for the CK-7W AFAIK) or a CK-300, but the CK-300 uses a Symbian app for the display, so won't be suitable for your needs.
As for fitting, I did it myself - if you can fit a car stereo you can fit a car kit. |

I have a Parrot MKi9000. Voice recognition and also plays from iPods/iPhone, USB sticks/USB mass storage devices, and any 3.5mm audio jack.
Very well recommended Nick |
