opened a door to crap music more like.. I can't help but think that most of these urban artists that are doing well in the charts right now actually made better music when they weren't in the chart. I remember being in college and really liking artists like Tinchy, Dizzee, Skepta etc. now they've got no individuality. NDubz, Tinchy, Dizzee, Chipmunk, Tinie Tempah, Skepta may aswell all be one artist, they all sound the same

Dizzee Rascal opened the door to that kind of music long before N-Dubz.

None of that happened. N Dubz were the first group to release deep inspiring lyrics based on their experiences growing up and the fact that everyone they meet seems to be jealous of them! They made the way for Tinchy Strider, despite him having being on a hit single long before he worked with them. Yes they opened the door for urban music. Forget So Solid Crew or Heartless Crew, no N Dubz started it all!

im not sure what door it is exactly that they are going on about!? they are just a new breed of pop music. the whole 'growing up on the streets' thing is so tiresome though, and even they didnt open that door!

Don't forget that, oh what was he called now? Tupac Shakur, I think? He loved a bit of N-Dubz. Well, shows how much longevity that kind of music has....

They do think highly of themselves, but I still like some of their songs.

I have to admit okay some of the UK urban talent has it's up's and bounds.

But it will never beat US Rap And Hip Hop.

n dubz are are about hood as big bird on sesame street

funny thing is nobody in the "street", "ghetto", "hood" would be caught listening to n dubz, they'd die of shame.

once n dubz fanbase of 12 year old girls grow up and will realize how naff they really are, they'll be a forgotten memory like 99% of boy bands.

and from my memory neutrino and oxide, so solid opened the doors for these urban acts and then came dizzy.

Ndubz Urban as East 17.
They are so original that they named themselves after their postcode just like East 17. I wonder what pearl of insightful wisdom these ground breaking artists are going to say in their next interview. "We invented hip-hop?!"

especially when its so exaggerated.. they grew up in St John's Wood, it's not exactly the ghetto. I'm from the NW postcode aswell and I feel ashamed to be associated with them in that respect.
