How old is she? I would guess at late 30's early 40's?
I actually think this about Cheryl Burke, i was gobsmacked to find out she is only mid 20's, i thought at least mid 30's

I don't think she looked terrible but she looks so different to how she does on her TV show.

The woman is a bottom dweller. Exploits her kids to get famous, then acts like she's something special. |

I like Tony - he's a friend of a friend of mine, and by all accounts is a really nice guy - such a shame he's been lumbered with such a dreadful partner this series. I thought dear old Buzz put in a better effort than Kate (whoever she is)

It would have been a perfect opportunity for Kate to turn her reputation around and let people see a softer side but evidently that side just isn't there. She wants to get more work in HW but if she is this difficult to work with the only thing she can do are reality shows that cater to this type of personality. Eventually she will sink into oblivion.
I can't imagine Tony giving up on any partner so he had to have felt like "just get me out this gig" so I can get my life back. He has to spend all day with her. |

I agree with you Kaycee. Poor Tony
![]() in 5 days and perfoming it in front of 24 million people. If he has been a teacher all his life, he should know that he has students at Fred Astair dance studio who pay thousands of dollars and take weeks just to put together a basic dance and perform it. Get over yoursef Tony! Hopefully he will be put out of his misery soon and get chucked off the show. |

Funny that all the other celebs somehow manage to put together a dance routine and perform it in five days!

I don't know about the Poor Tony remark. He should be more patient. He is expecting too much. Imagine any one reading this being able to put together a dance routine

That is perfectly true, beginners learning to dance can sometimes take weeks to learn a routine - but that is because they probably only have 1 hour lesson a week, and if they have a partner to practice with, it is most likely that partner is also a beginner. On scd and dwts the celebs are getting the equivalent of 20 "normal" weeks lessons each week, and every minute is with their professional partner. |

And supposedly it will have a story based on her ex-husband!
Can't wait.![]() I gather she tried to get Tony fired but didn't succeed. What a deeply unpleasant person she is. |

I didnt know all that much about Kate before DWTS - only that she had a lot of kids, and had her own reality show. But I genuinely thought she was well loved and was really nice until this!

Unfortunately there are some who are beyond redemption, who will never, ever get it. Being a diva doesn't help you either. Dance demands hard work and focus. Kate is a diva. I'd kill to dance with Tony. |

When I watched her jive I just could not help thinking about Jill Halfpenny's jive to the exact same song. Chalk and cheese doesn't even come close.

More trouble for Kate Quote:
Jon Gosselin Goes After Kate in Court
Posted Apr 6th 2010 12:40PM by TMZ Staff Jon Gosselin thinks "Dancing with the Stars" is damaging his kids, thanks to Kate Gosselin ... and Jon now wants primary custody as well as spousal support from his ex ... TMZ has learned. Jon's new lawyer, former assistant U.S. Attorney Anthony F. List, tells TMZ he's going to court to ask for primary physical custody. List calls Kate, "an absentee mom," which he says is no surprise to anyone. List expects to use "DWTS" as evidence that Kate does not spend "quality time with the 8 kids." List also thinks Jon is getting screwed in the child support department, claiming "$20,000 a month is ridiculous." In addition to primary custody, List says he's considering asking the judge to reverse the support obligation and make Kate pay Jon. He did not specify the amount. |
