Just wondered? Is seetickets any good? Seatwave?

I'm trying to get hold of tickets for the Black Eyed Peas tour but want to know if there's a safe and legit site I can do it from as Ticketmaster have sold out their allocation

I've used Seetickets a lot and never had any problems with them - it's probably the main site I use for concert tickets.

ticketline.co.uk are very good

Despite them saying it could be up to one week before the concert for them to deliver the tickets, I have always received mine within 2 weeks of booking, and I must've booked well over 30 sets of tickets with them!

Ticketline aren't a legitimate company either as they're just another bunch of touts with a website too.
You have no come back with these sort of companies.

Try and get them from the box office of the venue, they may have better seats and the booking fee is usually less.

Saying that wont those tickets have sold out by now? Might be hard to get your hands on one

They are fine. I don't know the structure but they are the same group as Ticketmaster.

I've never had any problems with Seetickets or ticketline either.

I don't know which venue you are looking at but sometimes the venues keep the best tickets for themselves e.g. The Ticket Factory for Birmingham venues.

Ticketline aren't an official ticket outlet.
They're just resellers.

There are official ticket sellers like Ticketmaster, Seetickets and ticketweb

then there are Agents who sell on at massive fees - AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS

and there are so called "fan to fan" sites but are in reality touts charters. There are Getmein, Viagogo and Seatwave. EBAY GOES INTO THIS CATEGORY TOO.

I recommend downloading Donal Mcintyre's Sunday podcast from last week. He looks at these companies and concludes that touts are ruining it for everybody.

You are wrong, Ticketline are a reputable official seller, you must be confusing them with someone else.

Live Nation are okay as they basically use Ticketmaster's selling system. TicketSoup is really good for Scottish events, too.

Ticketline aren't very good touts then if they sell tickets at the same price as the other 'legitimate' websites!

Ticket touts not making a profit, they are very good at their 'job'!

Whatever you do avoid Double8. They are ticket touts. They refuse to send you them in the post and you have to meet them on the day of the concert!

Other than ticketmaster you've got:

seetickets/wayahead/gigsandtours (different trading names but all the same firm)
ticketline
ticketweb
stargreen
wegottickets-they're usually good for smaller pub/club gigs
livenation
venue box offices

all perfectly ok,tickets have always turned up in post in time for the gigs.

If the gig you want is showing as sold out just keep checking periodically as returns and cancellations will go back on sale and a lot of the time extra tickets are released nearer to the date-this may be a few days before though,in these cases you have to collect them from the venue.

I always use seetickets they're very reliable, and the last few times I've ordered tickets I've received them earlier than expected!

All the above suggestions are highly reputable OP. One word of warning though, Seetickets have the highest rape fees of all the sites listed above. Stargreen tend to work out the cheapest in my experience.

Whatever you do, don't buy from ebay, that just keeps the touts in business while real fans get locked out.

I can recommend Live Nation as they are fast and reliable and I used them to get my tickets to see Calvin Harris at Bristol O2 arena last year, and just used them again for tickets to Lostprophets at Cardiff CIA this in May. I Got the tickets and am very much looking forward to the gig

Why do you call them rape fees?
