We loved Tasheka - you could argue that anyone over 20 is too old but up on the stage is not a television/movie close up. It's more the poppy vocal tone and energy that conveys youth (think Sheridan Smith who although only 28 or so is actually to old for the main character in legally blonde and in close up looks a solid 28 if not older). However, the whole point of this show is to make good TV. Let's not forget that these 20 girls were not the best that openly auditioned and that (as usual) there are one or two chosen to win with one or two who can at least carry the role if the public doesn't behave themselves. So, out of 20, at least 16 are probably cannon fodder - they are chosen because for a variety of reasons but generally not because they are the most suitable for the role. Let's face it, some of them could barely dance. The only common denomiator is most have the US fashionable pop belt (which can very nearly become a screech - think lead girl on Glee)

Totally agree!

Emilie she looks young and whoever plays the part has to be able to play a very convincing 13 year old

Camille reminds me of Rachel Tucker, very capable but not easy to warm to as a TV viewer.
Dont really think its worth any of them going through really.

Tasheka really stood out for me, although I am not sure if she isnt too old

Phillippa, but as long as it's not Tegan, I'll be pleased.

I think all the girls really are potentially good.

For me, there is something about Phillipa, but I reckon Teegan will go through, although I think both Claire's can bring something to the show.

Katie or Claire Harbourne - I just hope it's not Tegan her faces she was pulling were way OTT!!

I know you have to be expressive in the theatre but it was too far, and we already have Jessica for that she was also pulling some rather strange faces too!

I voted Tegan, but I also really liked Camille and Katie. I thought it was a shame they had to lose so many this week. Any chance the judges could bring back a 12th Dorothy? That would be great to bring two back.

Tegan, Emilie and Emma were all excellent. I can't believe that Euro-style pop singer Amy made the top 10 over those girls.

Why not? Just because the panel didn't put her through doesn't mean that the wild card girl couldn't be popular with the public. And even if she doesn't get far, from her point of view the longer she's in it the more exposure she gets and the more it will help her chances of work in the future.

Thought Tasheka had a great voice, but agree, maybe too old, so voted for Emilie. Hoping that Tegan doesn't get through as I took an irrational dislike to her.

Any of them would do a good job. They can all sing beautifully but I would choose a Dorothy out of Emilie, Tegan, Tasheka, Emma or Katie.

I voted for Emilie.

Wouldn't mind too much either if PhillipaCamille went through.

Took a disliking to Tegan and Claire Hillier(? - the one with the short blond hair). i did think Claire had a good voice, but I found it quite uncomfortable to watch her for some reason.

I really liked Sarah, i thought she had the vulnerability that a "Dorothy" needs and was someone that the audience would really feel for.

Unfortunately she was some what ignored in the "live" show and its clear that the panel were bigging up people they wanted to be voted through.

I mean Katie was terrific as was Clare (not the short haired one) and yet they to were largely ignored in the show, meaning the audience would forget them and forget to vote for them. As it is someone like Teagen or Tash will go through because they were promoted more in the show.

I thought Emilie looked like a good "Dorothy" but having rewatched the songs i thought she was really poor in the first number and not as good as Amy and Dani in the second so in hindsight i am not surprised she didnt make it through.

I actually thought Sarah was a really lovely girl, but vocally not as strong as some of the others.

The only argument against her I can think of was that she looks more like a Sandy than a Dorothy but if they thought that it was absurd to put Amy through.

Not sure what they found wrong with Katie either - she has the look and seems to have the vocals.

I would have made space for both of them.
