iPod Touch - wifi problems

I am having problems connecting to the internet on my touch today. Never had any problems before. It is connected to the network no problems, but I can't connect to any websites or any apps that require wifi.

I have cleared the settings and redone them; switched off and on again; restarted the router. Nothing is having any effect. Any ideas? The apple website is no help

have you tried connecting a PC to the wireless network and seeing if it can see the internet?

when you get problems like this its best to eliminate the various causes of the problem until you are certain what the issue is. i'd try ensuring first that the router is actually getting out onto the internet and the modem is working properly. you can do that by connecting a PC to it
