Scrapping O2 Online
Steven L Hunter

I'm scrapping O2 Online Pay as you Go and just keeping my Virgin sim card and getting my O2 number ported over, am i making a mistake? I am doing this as i mostly use Virgin for calls and O2 for texts and sometimes wap, i feel that the £10 doesn't justify how much texts i use on my phone so i would be as well just paying for the very few texts i use in a month and the wap and then i wouldn't have to top up my o2 as well as my virgin therefore would save money, what does everyone think?

It's your own personal choice, and only you know how you use your phone. Besides, it sounds though you've already made your mind up.

How much do you estimate to be spending on virgin a month using their texts and calls? I assume less than £10. Arents o2 payg talkalot call charges pretty similar?

Depends how you use it. o2 have some tricks up there sleave, which virgin dont, such as 5p min call charge, so if keep getting peoples voicemail ,then can cost a bit. also if you call a mobile on another network for 2 mins on o2, this does not count as your daily mins to reduce calls to 5p/2p. whereas virgin it does

Yeah exactly the 5p minimum call charge it's the same with TESCO as well (as they use O2) I emailled them earlier on and put that in the comment why i was leaving O2.
