So so proud of her and Dan. Best skater tonight by a long way and a seriously genuine and nice person.

Thanks mambo 70, she was indeed the best, both on the ice and off and justice was done tonight.

Nice to see a thread about Hayley being a nice person....I think she's been given a rough time on this forum (undeservedly imo)
She was the best skater, she clearly loved doing what she was doing and having her friend as a partner obviously made it a more personal experience for her.

Woo i'm so happy for her She has been the best each week, and that didn't change tonight!

It does make a change to see a nice thread about her aswell tbh- though i fully expect that to change

Thrilled for Hayley & Dan - they gave us energy, romance and drama in three exceptionally good routines.

Thoroughly well deserved winner, so pleased for her. She did brilliantly, really lovely partnership there.

I was a liitle worried for Hayley tonight; not her skating, but the female voters calls that put Kieron and Gary in the final. She was the favourite from, maybe, the second week. We all know that the phone votes can alter the judges score, and put poorish - aka Dr Hilary - through, and better skaters out of the competition.
Congratulations to Dan and Hayley on their winning partnership

She was great and she deserved to win. I enjoyed her jai ho (and I was worried about that), and I thought her bolero was beautiful as well.

I've been impressed by Hayley from the start - so pleased they got what they deserved - the trophy!

I felt for Kieron and Gary - but there can only be one winner and that's the best!

Thanks Ignazio, there are some very nasty Hayley supporters around tonight, and not all of us have attacked Hayley. I'm honestly pleased she won and I voted for her based on her bolero. However, gloating is not nice.

You've been very reasonable throughout the series lach

Commiserations to you and your boy. I really enjoyed his second routine.

<smooch!> x

And one for Ignazio - Mwah X

Well done to Hayley. Really wanted Kieron to win but no sour grapes from me.

Oh Sid, you are such a lovely person, thank you for the huge compliment <I'm secretly stalking you anyway>. To be fair, Hayley was outstanding. I would have loved to see Kieron's bolero (because I think there would have been some real emotion there), but it wasn't to be. Would it have been fair if he had won, probably not. Hayley was great, and Gary was great as well. Lovely final, and I really enjoyed it.

I'd like you to point out those nasty Hayley supporters please. I've seen no nastiness from them at all at all, but plenty directed at her, including some people saying they hope she falls over and breaks bones etc.

Oh I'm more than happy to be stalked - I know how Ignazio feels now!

I said in the Show Thread how much I would have liked to have seen Keiron's Bolero. He always injects so much drama into his performances, I'm sure it would have been quite special and a good contrast to what we got from Hayley.

Thankfully, Gary did a much better Bolero than I expected. I thought it was going to be a bit flat but he acquitted himself pretty well.

That pretty well sums it up for me as well Arty

'Jai Ho' will definitely go down as one of the best routines over the history of DOI - superbly executed tonight

Look around, but don't think that I generalise to all supporters.

I'm your official stalker then. I think Gary was ok, and much better than expected (I did my promised vote for him). However, he didn't quite ignite the same feeling in me as Hayley and Kieron. Hayley has a weird sort of passion (positive), and Kieron has energy and fun. Gary seems still a bit self-conscious.
