Well done Hayley you and Dan were fab, you have entertained me week after week, you so deserved your win.
The public rewarded you for all your hard work, and you are such a lovely person. Thank you both i will miss watching what routine you are going to do next.

I usually post on ALW's hunt for a star - but I've missed the first 2 programmes - are they repeated?

Catch them on iplayer - they're well worth watching.

The standard is higher then ever and the panel is much improved (and includes the wonderful Sheila Hancock).

Yes, look forward to posting with you again

Is it just DOI you watch or are you a Strictly fan as well?

I totally agree with you. Hayley has had some really nasty things written about her on here and totally out of order! She has come over as being such a lovely lass and so unassuming, even though she has been the best since week one she was never big headed and always quick to give out compliments to anybody else, such as Daniella, when she came above Hayley for the one week! I really feel that Hayley has had quite a raw deal on here considering what a lovely person she is!

I definitely think that the right two were in the final and Gary really upped his game. I was quite sad that Daniella did not get to the last 3, for which she deserved. But ay, two out of three isnt bad!

How good was Hayley tonight? Totally amazing. Her Jai hoi was definitely the best ever over any series!

All my congratulations goes to Hayley and Daniel and many thanks for the entertainment that they have given me over the series!

She wasn't my favourite, but it would have been an injustice if she hadn't won - not so much for tonight's efforts, but overall.

I think your spellchecker has inadvertently substituted 'wonderful' for 'senile' Sid

Props to the DOI panel this year though, I think they've been on fine form. Emma B is definitely by far the best fifth judge they've had (although, let's face it, anyone would have been better than the horrendous Ruthie...)

Are you stalking me too? (I know, I know, in my dreams!)

Emma is a lovely lass, but I think one judge critiquing performance is more than enough, and as acid tongued as he can be sometimes, I prefer experienced choreographer Jason. Emma didn't really tell me anything I couldn't see for myself.

But just scrolling back I'm pleased to see we can agree on what a worthy winner Hayley was. It's a miracle.

A little late I'm afraid but better late than never eh?

I was also thrilled that Hayley and Dan won DOI. They were definitely the most deserving and have been constant throughout the weeks of the competition but well done to Kieran and Gary too for being such worthy runners-up.

They're all winners in a way for even taking part.

We do agree sometimes. On the odd occasions when you see sense

I'm not going to be able to fight my way through the crowd of Sid stalkers , but let's face it, we're always going to end up on the same threads through a shared love of RTV competition-type programming

Just to come back to the theme of the thread...Hayley is for me easily the best female winner, and the best female performer, so far on DOI. Although she will never replace the lovely Clare in my affections....

She was simply brilliant, And so pleasing to see talent winning over hatred.

I can never understand the small mindedness of some people on this board.

Yes Hayley smiles, Yes she is polite, Yes she is sweet.

A recipe for the death sentence.

Hayley you have kept me entertained with your wonderful skating, Cheers me dear.

Clare is probably my favourite female contestant to date.

She performed well and came across as a really sweet and genuine girl
