No.

All the judges are rubbish and biased, he's just the only one who goes too far. rather like a child

Be poorer without him

I've said Yes... mainly because he can't keep his opinions within the context of the show.

This year he showed he was completely biased and was basically baiting the celebs in the newspaper - yes he gives an honest critique, but he should keep in within the boundries of the show and not turn it into a personal slanging match

Yes! He's a vile man. I cannot respect his opinions when he is blatently so rude. Craig RH is seen as 'the nasty judge' on SCD but he manages to be honest without being scathing. Get rid of Jason!

no. He was the only one who said what i was thinking about Gary using his daughter to try and get votes. No one else was going on about their kids all the time the way he was.

Keep Jason. Every reality show needs a 'baddy' judge

I agree with this post. What are his qualifications for being a judge anyway

No.

He may be too blunt and personal, but at least he says what a lot of viewers are thinking. Whether it was Gary and/or the production, his child was used shamefully. It was disgraceful, poor kid.

I agree, certain things Jason says are way beyond the belt.

Yes!! Emma and Nicky can be nasty enough so he's not needed on that front. Besides his comments aren't constructive anyway so he serves no purpose. They wouldn't even have to replace him. In the skate off, if the voting was 2-1 when it came to Robin, he could just have the casting vote as Headjudge like in Strictly.

Stick him on as a contestant I say and let the judges loose on him week in week out with their comments.

I've voted no.

He's always cut it close to the bone and this year he's gone right through it with some of the things he's said.

But I think he gives very good critique (when he's not been an idiot) and i often agree with what he's saying. I think that would be missing if he left.

I just hope he tones down the personal and rude remarks (if he's back)

NO!!! some times his comments are harsh but he say's it how it is and a lot of the times i agree with him, i know a lot of people was upset last night about his comment about Gary i am sorry but i agree with what he said( people didnt agree also but we all are allowed to give our opinion)

Yes. Of course he's often accurate, but he's also often cruel, spiteful and needlessly bullying.

You could get another judge who'd be on the money without being ridiculous about it - and I don't mean a dull one either. Nothing wrong with the Rolando Villazon style of judging, or even Simon Cowell's style. But Jason is just a step over the line.

N you need his type of comments in the show

No I don't think he should
Although some times he takes his comments a little too far, he does know what he's talking about and 9/10 I do agree with him. This series especially. I also think he makes great television, and I can't think of anyone who could replace him. After all, we need a judge who's not afraid to say exactly what he thinks, he's certainly not shy is he?

These "celebrities" are getting well paid for being on DOI and they know what Jason is like - if they don't want his criticism then they shouldn't accept the money to appear.”

Other judges manage to be critical without being cruel. I don't see why we need someone with such a vicious streak associated with the show.

I think he was part of why the show was so dull this year. His over the top comments were ridiculous most of the time, they weren't helpful, and when they have nothing to do with the performance, why make them? I'm sure he was jealous of Emma getting so much attention and so had to make worse comments than usual. Please tell me how his stupid personal comments about the contestants make this show more entertaining. Ugh.

Yes Yes Yes - being brutal to someone over there skating is fair enough but personal insults towards people is an absolute disgrace and he shouldnt be getting away with it

Someone tell me how making contestants cringe while they're being personally insulted and trying to keep a good face on is entertaining? If that entertains you, I pity you.

Yes he goes over the top - or at least he did, he calmed things down after the furore with Sharon thingy.

But to be honest I don't find listening to the likes of Karen going on about how lovely everyone is very entertaining either. And please don't bother to pity me ---- that is as insulting a remark as any Jason made.

They are rather bland but that's no reason to keep this specimen. Get someone else. I realise some folk do like him but the fact is he is generally unpopular and spoils the show for most of the viewers.

Yes, I used to think he was trying to be a panto villain just to get attention, now I think he is just a very nasty little man.

His remark about Gary's daughter was out of order when he knew the little girl was in the audience was out of order, Gary did go on about her, but there was no need for that nastiness, he was offensive about Sharon as well.

I don't mind a controversial judge, if their comments relate to the skating. I don't mind it if someone says a performance is dull or they didn't enjoy it (with regards to Gary what would have been sufficient). However, attacking contestants for their build, their costumes, physical attributes and their family (and producer edited VT's) is out of order. I didn't mind Jason in previous years, and to be truthful, quite often when he is constructive I can really see his point. However, this year he has gone slightly off the rails (e.g. also his comment that he doesn't care about the contestants etc.).
