Kieron was robbed

i thought kieron skated much better in the final than gary and because we kept seeing vt's of his daughter gary went on to do bolero

which btw was so boring i started texting someone in the midle of it

haykeys had me captivated

gary never should have even been in the final week actually he was like a block of wood

sorry but using the kid whoever done it is milking it as jason said and gary should have said youre not using clips of my daughter

he had no performance in any of his skates from week one

poor kieron got so much better over time and really went for it i was gutted for him

I supported Kieron, and I would have loved to see him do Bolero (I voted four times for him). However, he was not robbed, and I don't think that the kid was the decisive factor in Gary' success yesterday. IMO that's too simplistic and ignores the complex factors playing a part in such celebrity reality shows. I fear, undermarking him for his "what about now" skate played a role in it as well. It deserved higher marks.

I voted for Keiron last week. I wanted to vote for him this week but he simply wasn't as good as the other two. Third is a good place to get to and Keiron deserved it, but no more. Congratulations to him.

I have to say the emphasis on Gary's daughter really annoyed me and I find gary as entertaiing as a plank of wood , that said , I honestly felt that Keiron was a much better performer and if from a technical point of view Gary was the better skater I felt that Keiron was more the whole package .

It was always going to be Hayley ( once Daniella was eliminated ) and I would have preffered the more complete package to win

I don't think Kieron was robbed, because ultimately the public voted, and that's just the way it is. Though obviously I was gutted that he didn't get through, and I think he really should have.

Watching the Bolero he would have performed (http://dancingonice.itv.com/2010/Wat...en-bolero-1706), he showed he would have been a very worthy member of the final two, so it was sad he wasn't there. But he can be extremely proud of what he did achieve, just as the other finalists can.

Agreed. I thought Gary performed very well last night and deserved his second place. I supported Keiron from the start, voted for him like mad last night, but think the result was absolutely right.

That Bolero, btw, is a thing of rare beauty, fragile and emotive.
Well done all for last night, 3 fabulous and very personal Bolero's

I agree with this.

Keiron wasn't robbed (I do think he was the weakest of the three finalists) but we were robbed of seeing what I think would have been a slightly more dramatic Bolero than what Gary gave us.

Given the quality and complete contrast of the two we DID see, I'd love to have seen Kieron's Bolero - I bet it would've been a different thing altogether again. Mind you, I thought Bolero really suited Gary's style - quite intense and emotional.

And as a series-long Kieron fan, sorry, but he wasn't robbed. He was good, the others were better. Simples.

I think Keiron was a better performer than Gary and should have been in the final two. I'm convinced that it was all the VT showing Gary's daughter that swayed the voters who weren't sure which man to vote for. And saying that I don't think Gary should have got as far as he did, I thought Danny was better than Gary too, I agree with Jason, Gary was b-o-o-ring.

And his Bolero was superb and would have given Hayley a run for her money.

Haley and Gary were better than Keiron on the night. He didn't deserve any higher than third place.

I enjoyed watching Kieron's Bolero but, overall, I thought Gary was a stronger skater and deserved his place.

I thought Danny was showing immense improvement before that disastrous skate off with the hat and believe he would have given a good showing had he reached the final - still he didn't and those who did deserved to be there and all gave good performances.

I don't think Gary milked his daughter at all - she was a sweet child and inevitably the cameras panned to her frequently - he wasn't responsible for that.

The inability to accept the result after an event is over is never attractive - why not enjoy the achievements on one's favourite without being disparaging about the others.
