RAMSAY REJECT ON BIG BROTHER
By Andy Rudd

THE cook given a roasting by Gordon Ramsay has been picked for this month's Big Brother.

Channel 4 bosses liked Tim Gray so much that when they discovered he had applied to the show they made him a finalist.

Tim's first television outing on Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares ended with the top chef saying he cooked "like a t**t" and was "too busy playing to the cameras".

Ramsay added: "I had been told that all I had to do was strip away the pretensions, that he had the makings of a chef because he truly loved food.

"Did he f**k! He was in love with the notion of being famous, not with food and that seriously p****d me off. All he wanted was his mug on the telly."

But a Channel 4 insider was impressed: "Tim was just great and when we were told that he wanted to be on Big Brother it was the icing on the cake."

Tim was sacked as the head chef of struggling Bonapartes restaurant in Silsden, West Yorks.

Tim was a complete non-entity with the personality of one of those slightly mouldy strawberries he seemed so fond of keeping.

This does not bode well, they really thought he was interesting, he had no personality he was such a non entity I ended up feeling sorry for him.

I was wondering if Endemol would try this - slipping in HM's who had applied, or appeared on other reality shows in a desperate attempt for a successfull BB5. One example of this has they have tried has been Gail, the pre-op transexual who appeared as a make over client on the Salon, then reappeared as a guest on Fit Farm, before finally deciding (diva like) that she was not going to be told what to do and resigning her place. It would not surprise me in the least if she turns up in BB5 - third time lucky for Endemol???
