Storing phone numbers on your mobile
When you store phone numbers, email addresses and so forth on your mobile do you just save it onto your mobile or onto your SIM card?
What are the pros and cons either way? Thanks |

Storing them on the SIM severely limits the information you can save for each contact.
So its much better to keep them in phone memory. Whatever you decide to do, don't forget to keep regular backups/sync (either to your PC or to a free on-line service). Then when you change your handset or if you were to lose it; its trivially easy to transfer your contacts across. |

I keep my numbers on the phone, and a second copy of very important numbers on the sim, so in case my phone goes wrong, then I can pull the sim out and put it into a new phone and I have the very important number untill I have the time to restore rst of my numbers from a back up.
also usefull if your battery dies and you need a number asap, then you can just borrow someone elses phone. |
