Nokia 5230 - help needed
Hiya,
Can anyone help? I have just bought a Nokia 5230 and have been using it for a few days. All was fine! However, when I am trying to send a text to my daughter, it comes up with failed and won't send. It was okay until yesterday so not sure why the messages won't go. If no-one can help, I will try to hunt out a number for a helpline and give them a ring, but thought I would try here first as everyone is normally so helpful. Thanks.

When it says Failed one of the options is Details. If you select that it will tell you why it failed. Usually, its a temporary network issue and can often be cured just by taking the battery and SIM out of the handset for a few minutes.

My 5800 has done that a couple of times. Fix is to power it off then on again. I am guessing one of the firmware processes gets its knickers in a twist.
