Thanks Alienpanda, but I think "Woo!" may be a bit optimistic. I'll set the Skyplus and will be over the moon if the series is anything other than a bunch of arse.

Yeah fantastic.... a Sarah-Jane-style series with a totally redesigned K9, who now has emotions (!!!)!!!... and an obligatory American so they can sell it overseas.
It looks like cak.
(Happy for Leeson though - had be been recast it would have been disgusting)

Remember the last K9 spin off, it's not a good omen?
Thanks for the heads up. Pity I don't have that channel - but I'm sure it'll turn up on Youtube (the BBC can't cease and desist this one like the other Who franchise shows!)

In the clip I've seen on youtube, it sounds pretty much the same to me. A bit more inflection, but less difference than there is between Nick Briggs' various Dalek voices.
The whole 1st episode is up there, I just discovered

Actually several Australians and a Canadian. Leeson seems to be the only Brit in the cast.
I don't have a TV, but since all I'm doing right now is assembling some furniture I'd probably have it on as background noise if I did. Tvguide.co.uk saves me for Freeview channels. But don't worry! We have a licence.
