Why Haley thinks she won

Sounds like some New Age technique - 'positive thinking'

Will she be sticking up post it notes 'Haley and Dan tour winners 2010'.

She'll have more competition on tour than she did on TV

Whats wrong with that ?

I think that's quite sweet. Don't buy into all that cosmic ordering stuff myself but it's a nice story.

I still think she won as she didn't have any real competition!

She had the right frame of mind from the off, nothing wrong with preparing herself.

Well done Hayley for being positive x

I think the fact they have been friends since they were kids was hugely unfair on the oher contestants, there was no need for them to be partnered together there was alternatives.

She would still have won whoever she ice-danced with.

Absolutely, but still that fact was not apparent before they started the series, the others had to build a relationship.

No, sorry, most of them were actors.

Contrary to the opinion of many on the forum I don't think their friendship made it any easier.

Speaking for myself I would find it far more difficult to act out an emotional routine with a good friend than a fellow entertainer.

I'd want to burst out laughing.

EH!!!!! She had a childhood friend have his hands all over her body!!!! the others had a stranger with his hand all over their "bits", seems to me she was in a much stronger position, it takes time to build a relationship she had that from the get go!!

Do you honestly think any of them were bothered about the pro skaters touching their 'bits'?

If I was skating with Fred he could be as 'Touch Feely' as he wanted.

Well at my age I would be grateful for anyone to touch my bits.

How is that a stronger position?

I would feel a lot better about a stranger feeling me up, because after the show we could go back to pretending it never happened.

That was my point

Dan would of course have got Hayley, because of where they both live. It makes no difference if they had never met before or were married. Not a fix people!

WHO mentioned "Fix"!!!! My point was, as they had a very close relationship they didnt have to build one, the others did, i presume trust and confidence in your partner is crucial!!!

But even more , it was Suzanne Shaw who gave her the book.

I do apolgise summertime09, could have sworn someone had cried fix on here. Must have been another thread.

I fancy I would be that much more embarassed learning skating, and dancing, from someone I knew, but that's just me.

Totally agree that trust and confidence are key to doing well in this show, and all other partner based reality tv.

I shall leave this thread now before I goof up YET AGAIN

Much love to all, anyone coming over the rainbow?

I think I would prefer to train with and be partnered by someone i don't know. Don't know why, maybe because if things don't work out I wouldn't feel as bad as I would if I felt I had cost my friend a place in the competition.
