Dimond, I wholeheartedly agree with you on the Zainab discussion.... and Katia, that sounds like a very plausable scenario.

The term "party" says it all. Chryed will be outed in a very public way... hence the "duff duffs" on a Friday, which will give us the showdown on the Monday (26th). Quadim being there further fuels the theory of him beating up Christian.

So it looks like EE are going for the all dramatic reveal. Gah, this was the one I protested so strongly against. I wanted Syed to confess all. Though this is EE, since when as it ever went down like that?

I just hope the writing makes up for the way it comes out.

I have mixed feelings about all this and I think I won't know until I see it all. I can see the humour easily although it is that nudge nudge wink wink (I said wink!) kind of carry on humour but at the root of it is a serious heartbreaking issue. But then humour can be used to get all sorts of issues across.

It depends how they do it. Zainab can be hilarious, we love her for it and this scene with Mo will be funny...so long as it doesn't make light of the fact that there are two people caught up in a horribly distressing situation. So long as that comes across in other scenes, so it is ultimately understood how unhappy they both are.

I can see what you mean diamond that in her ignorance Zainab thinks this well help and hopefully that will come across as ignorance. And it is putting extra emotional pressure on both Syed and Amira to succeed in the bedroom. It makes me cringe to think she is discussing Syed and Amira' sex life with Mo (if she actually does) or any outsider or even knowing so much about it herself. It's humiliating all round.

Anyway some great posts by crazysusan, indie, poppymay, vf, rhum, starfish, diamond (sorry lost my quotes there were more I think) discussing both sides and I guess we have to see how it comes across.
But starfish I really saw your point highlighted above and it's also part of the reason we haven't had enough 'just talking and being ordinary scenes.' they don't think we have the concentration levels to cope do they? without some unnecessary drama or funny bit thrown in!”

Its a shame it is looking like a big reveal in public. I can only hope that in their chat, Chryed decide to be together only for A to announce she is/may be pregnant. At least that would show S had made the decision but outside forces stopped him.
