Rhumba, Mcdenial, Diamond, Surreal - re: writing, continuity and pacing. Thanks for your thoughts. Annoying as it is, I hope it is down to the EP's production style as opposed to the writers themselves. All of which brings me to the reason we had a 5-week blackhole and the current state of EE.

I've been a wee bit bored with EE atm. But given the amount of work the actors, writers and production team have had to put into the Christmas, NYE, NYD and live episodes, I can forgive them.

But it's funny how this thread and other threads have been bored and disappointed with EE so far. However, in terms of Chryred, it did make me realise why we had to have the 5-week blackhole.

This thread and other threads seem to want something different to happen right now. We're impatient and we all wait in anticipation. And yippeee! Chyred takes EE stage over the next two months. This is their BIG moment. And EVERYTHING in the last 6 week will probably pale in significance, I think. It also represents one of Santer's last big explosive episodes - a generic style he is paricularly good at doing if anything. And after the borefest some of us have been subjected to, it's time Syed and Christian came into their own.

Haha! Aww bless them both - I was sure that they were joking when it didn't affect them at all!

Thanks for the video Endersfan. I hardly dare say this as I'll probably be hung as a heretic but I agree with Laura - wish Johnny would stop 'you knowing'!! I've started to listen for those rather than what he's saying. Sad to say I actually counted how many times he said it in the clip!!

However, I do love the way he always gives eye contact to presenters when he's being interviewed. I bet he comes over as someone who is interested in what you have to say if you talk to him in r/l.

I have a dilemma. I've just unexpectedly got tickets for a recording of The Graham Norton show next week in London, I'm on holiday in Cardiff. Getting there is on problem, there's cheap coaches, but getting back is a problem.

The coach back is 9.30pm, and it says on the ticket they aim to finish filming at 8.45. Except I don't know if that gives me enough time to get from the studios near Waterloo to Victoria coach station in 45 mins. I've done research and it's technically do-able, but if the filming overruns...eep.

And they next coach isn't til half 11. And i'd get the train but it's too expensive.

Any london based Chryedians out there that can help?

Oh yes I didn't even make top 10 posters for Part 17!!!

Hubby off work this week and my brother is visiting from America so r/l is keeping me very busy!! I will be back to my normal manic posting after Easter Monday though no doubt!!!

When I lived in the North East some years ago one restaurant invented the world's hottest curry- a Magmaloo (presumably crossing the word Magma with vindaloo)- I wonder if that was what they ate??!!

And goodness me- I've only been away for a couple of days and you're on another part! I'm going to try to catch up but at the speed you all post, I'm doomed to failure!

When Christian and Syed get back on screen properly, I'll have no chance of catching up...you'll all be on part 156!!

I think it's gonna have to be bad enough for him to end up in hospital otherwise it'll just be too similar to last year's attack

On the plus side though, I'm hoping we might see Syed maintaining a hospital vigil....rushing to be by Christian's bedside and holding his hand

I think the attack will make Syed go one of two ways though - it'll either make him realise just how much he loves Christian and can't live without him or he'll totally blame himself and decide that they can no longer be together in case Christian gets even more hurt. Hopefully the first one though!

As for the attacker, I think Masood will initially be the main suspect, but it'll turn out to be Qadim.

Errrrr... clueless presenters asked totally the wrong things!! Hardly much promotion to be honest and it wasnt Nina/Nitin's fault either!


Honestly there is a chance is can overrun but I think you can afford to overrun by about 25minutes if the studios are close to the station!
I cant be liable for this though
