Yeah, this is really reassuring as to gauging Mas's reaction, IMO. The fact that he doesn't just explode with rage like Zainab did... well, it's telling, isn't it? That he takes a step back, gives himself some time to think.

I'm not saying he won't be angry when he finds out the extent of the betrayal from his son and wife, of course he will, but it's reassuring that he's trying to get his head around it before accusing Syed of anything.
