oh I remember that evening so well, I really went through the emotional wringer that night! I was so upset about DT leaving DW but was just devastated by Chryed....it was all just so heartbreakingly sad
I think the worst moment for me was the 'it's all okay' scene with the forehead kiss I cried my eyes out, it was heartbreaking but also somehow beautiful, like Christian had gone full circle

Another EE thing about where they repeat things. Obviously we love their hands playing a huge part, cut finger scene, you can have me, all of me, Christians put out hand to touch Sy in the MM, and obviously the hand on the window, but what I love in the Cafe scene is that they both have their hands on the table, just close to each other, but not touching until Christian reaches out. I love that their hands are so important to them. Well done EE

I can so see how that would happen. Syed has realised that he needs to be wth Christian. He goes home to tell Amira, but before he can, she tells him she's pregnant. He's trapped forever.
He goes back to Christian. They're in the living room, Christian is getting scared because Syed looks like a ghost, and is so upset he can't even talk.
Then Syed breaks, buries his face in his hands as he starts to sob. Christian reaches for him, holds him close, rubs his back and strokes his hair, shushing him and trying to find out what's happened.
Syed sobs out, 'she's pregnant,' and Christian's heart stops, because he knows what that means for them.
Christian closes his eyes, presses his lips to Syed's hair, holds him tighter, wanting to tell him that everything will be fine, but he can't because it won't be. nothing will ever be fine again.
Syed clings to him, sobbing and incoherent, telling him that he loves him, he can't lose him, he can't, what are they going to do?
And Christian tries to comfort him, but how can he when there are no words. He doesn't know what they can do. There's no way out and they're trapped in this nighmare.
Now I'm making myself cry.

They need to repeat hands again before the kiss scene, as Katrina suggested... Syed should put his hands on Christian's chest first. PERFECT after the window scene. Just for a few seconds for him to realise 'oh, you're there'... and for it to terrify Christian (in a good way obviously). It's genius in so many ways!
