Sunday Nights Results returning
vmchunkymonkey

It looks like the Sunday results are returning. Not sure if they are live. This weeks listings . . .

Saturday at 7.25pm - Live Show 1
Sunday at 6.20pm - Results Show 1

I would much rather get the results on the same evening as the performances.

Same as Strictly then.

If only the Beeb could come up with more than one decent programme per weekend they wouldn't have to do it.

The question is, is the Beeb too cheap to make two separate live shows? If the answer's yes, hopefully we'll be able to find the result on here on Saturday night.

eugh i hate sunday night results shows because you always find out on the saturday night anyway and then there is no point watching the sunday one - it is a real anti climax. It is really hard to avoid spoilers (especially on digital spy who splash them all over the place)

I mean i would like to come on the site on Sunday morning/afternoon and discuss the show.. however i will end up coming on to discuss the show and then probably by chance find out who left and it be a real anti climax and pointless watching the sunday night show.

It won't be live because it would be hard for Sheila Hancock to get both nights/days off Sister Act (and according to the website she is only missing the Saturday shows)

Stupid decision but not a surprising one.

I thought most theatres were closed on Sunday anyway?

I like the Sunday results show, as I don't like surprises and the shows can be longer.

All these shows are done to the same format. There's no way there will be a separate results show.

I don't like it because we always find out the result beforehand (I know, I shouldn't look, but I can't help it!) but it is worth watching for the sing-off, where they usually actually get to sing a showtune.

However, this is too late to affect the public's decision and it is always frustrating when a contestant who has just murdered a really inappropriate pop song turns out to be much better at an emotive ballad.

I enjoy proper musical theatre numbers & have to take them where I can get'em...

Most do. Some now open on Sundays and close Mondays or some other day . Legally Blonde opens Sundays and closes on Tuesdays for example.

You are right with Sister Act though its shut on Sundays so Sheila will be free.

I didn't know the results were known before the show came on? Then again, I don't think I looked

I shall have to look thats why I prefer the results to be shown at the end of the Saturday night programme as I am too weak willed not to look at the spoilers before the recorded Sunday night results

I was quite glad of the spoilers during I'd Do Anything it gave me a few hours to get used to a result I didn't like, unlike Any Dream Will Do - I nearly had a coranary when Daniel was voted off.

I find if its a result I dont like it spoils the whole Sunday night results show for me thats why I would rather be put out of my misery on the Saturday night I know I should really avoid the spoilers but I just cant

I only had one dissapointment during I'd do Anything, though I think I would have handled it better had I seen the spoilers

I'd Do Anything results were a dream for me as I voted for Jodie every week.

And there's always the fun game of watching the live show with the rest of your family and accurately "predicting" who will go out.... (naughty!)

anything to annoy the mother in law's is great stuff

I dont like them splitting the show up like this. I think its loses some of the atmosphere and excitement. Plus the results show spends most of the time recapping everything from the night before and not really giving the viewers anything new.

However at least by coming on here i can find the result out and if i dont like it then at least i have a bit of time to get over my sulk

The best result for me was when both Jessie and Jodie got through and Rachel and Sam had to do the sing off

Spot on! If they film the results show on the same day as in the past, it means I shall now spend an inordinate amount of time on this forum late on a Saturday evening, desperate for the spoiler to come through and, even then, having to decide whether to believe it or not! Much better to get it over and done with on the same day.
