If HMs join this forum can we still debate their good and bad points while they were in the house or will we now only be allowed to discuss nice things about them?................................would this mean we have evolved into an Orwellian style forum?

With regards to that which can't be discussed, I think that in this situation we should respect the Mods decisions so far, but from now on the T&C's should apply to ALL F.M's equally.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be offensive. I was only joking - of course I don't think spelling and grammar errors make posts any less valid. Especially in Federico's case (to whom I cheekily referred to) - articulate and bi-lingual works for me!

Thank you xanderspuppy, I do enjoy taking your compliments (I’m actually tri-lingual as I also speak Spanish). Briefly I want to say that I have been a member of this forum posting regularly for over six months now and never once (until the recent events), has there been even the slightest inclination of conflict or disharmony. I apologise to anyone that took some of the ‘Divine Ponytail’, posts from a literal viewpoint but I feel that I explained my words more than sufficiently in my long winded post with all the syntax aberrations. The level of personal and spiteful abuse I was taking on the original Divine Ponytail thread was uncalled for and I reacted in a similar, personal manner. To be honest I am tired of the whole gobshite thing I have never tried to cultivate that image on here through all the time I have been posting. I think I have an attraction to nihilism and alienation through reading literature by Kafka, Satre, Camus, Genet, Burroughs, Trochhi but I’m really not into one-upmanship and all that superficial shite. I apologise to those I have offended. It is very important for me though that people understand that I have no racial prejudices, indeed I feel comfortable enough in my own state of mind to insult or object to anyone of any race or creed (true equality).
p.s I’m sure Emzi would love a bit of feedback on her interview.

Having read all the posts on this thread I have come to the conclusion that if you share Federico's sense of humour & choice of comics his comments read as funny. If not, or you havn't a clue who these characters are, they come acros as rude. ( my original opinion ~ sorry)

I remeber on BB last year one minute I was pulling my hair out and muttering under my breath at you but you always redemed your self by being a decent guy in the end. LOL

Emzi, that was a fantastic interview you gave and Fed, you gave very funny replies. ( Makes a mental note never to interview you on pain of death LOL)

Emzi, would you say the interview was "difficult" to conduct or was it all in good fun anyway.

Emzi - loving your work! I'm soooo bored with Heat-style interviews where everyone sounds the same - a suspicious composite of a) the interviewer b) their agent and c) the lawyer with the blue pen. At last a chance to hear from someone with actual opinions and an entertaining way of putting them.

Federico - you're a very welcome addition to the forum in my book. I like my debate red in tooth and claw, not with a bunch of politically-correct automata. (I also enjoy reading posts utilising a wide vocabulary - dull words are for dull thoughts). I look forward to spitting with rage at your posts and damning you to hell in the near future!

Emzi - a great interview, and one that should most definitely not be overshadowed by "other things". I think Federico's arrogance is part of his charm for me, and I wouldn't want him any other way (maybe *slightly* less controversial!)

I must admit, though, that it made me dislike Federico rather more than I already did. Therein lies the difficulty of a housemate being also a forum member. I want to react as I would had the interview been with "just another RTV contestant", but my hands are tied by the T&C's. Ah well. What's a boy to do???

Technically it was difficult because Federico and I share the same trait - we can both talk the hind legs off a donkey so transcribing it was a nightmare as we talk over each other frequently!

As for Federico himself - I found him sparklingly intelligent, good fun, rather sweet but at the same time - a terrible, terrible non-PC wind-up merchant!

I found the Davina comment interesting, of course if that had been reported in say Heat magazine it would have been the 'evil Fed' type of reporting but here we're more sensible.
I wouldn't necesarily say bad at her job just ineffectual. The whole way she totally failed to interview people properly was a massive letdown in my mind. You have a very small time in which to get the goodies out and time after time after time she blew it. And BBLB was toned down so much you never learned anything beyond the basics day after day (worse last year). I remember a couple of years ago they showed a clip of the press conference the next morning. Now thats something that would have been more interesting to see as I bet more interesting stuff happened there.

BB5 will have no Friends to base itself around (after the first night), no Graham Norton to be slagging it off so in my mind theres no reason whatsoever for not having a proper 20 min+ addition after the main show. Have a long break, show a recap (give the HM a chance to see the family etc) then do a proper interview, show the HM's properly organised clips not just the more salacious bits. Get some proper conversation going.
For all the effort and money put into BB they cast aside the HM's so fast it's unbelievable.
And at least this part of the show should be with someone better than Davina, Dermot O'Leary would definately be better or maybe it's time to start training someone else up? Get rid of Davina totally and have Dermot run the main show.

It's odd but I have thought of this before. We all dive right into BB every year. We catch up during work, lunch, when we get home and watch it live on E4 every night. We know everything we can about it and we work a normal job. Davina gets paid to present a small part of it which is written for her so has even more time and access to details but seems to know very little. Why is this? At times many of us here would be better suited to be presenting the show.

Emzi and Fed well done on a great interview! Fed I really appreciated your honesty how you felt on your eviction night regarding Davinas comments on the size of your 'tackle'. I don't know how any man would be expected to take a comment like that with good humour and not only was it awful for you but it was quite horrible to watch. Not one of Davinas finer moments, she did herself no favours with her fan base.

This is a VERY good point.
The ds t&c's prohibit personal attacks and insults against fm's.
But these are allowed against 'celebrities'.

If Jade, Jonny or Kate for example joined the forum, ??.......

So, any BB hm's out there who dont like being slagged off in DS. Just join the forum as members and then noone will be allowed to say nasty things about you.

On the other hand, if fm's are still allowed to be a bit more 'forthright' in comments at ex bb'ers, then be the same token, these ex bb'ers have every right to defend themselves.

Its a difficult one I know, and I can sortof understand why ch 4 forums dont allow ex Hm's to post.

I should never have made that comment, I am usually more civilised than that (ie ridiculing peoples body parts). I wont apologise tho', I still think he is a self centered, arrogant wee git, and as for berating my beloved Davina . She is a great tv personality IMO... Federico is (as we are) entitled to his opinion.. I still find him offensive, he did apologise tho' kinda

Also to say he is not typical of 'Italians in Scotland', I know many and they would be thoroughly ashamed of his attitude.
