Could anybody please help me with the name of this song?

I heard it played on radio 1, about 9.00 last night, I thought it was wicked, the DJ said it was by somebody (cant remember who) and that it featured daft punk.

it was daft punk, but also featuring a woman's voice, the lyrics she was saying was something like:

"we are both the same, you'll never change" or something similar to that.

does anyone know the song name, it's eating me alive? thanks

Just checked the Radio 1 tracklistings, can't find anything with Daft Punk on last night.

Had a quick listen to the shows around 9pm.
Could it be

Splash

That was on Zane Lowes show at about 8.20pm ish

or

I Am Not A Robot

That was on the review show at about 9.10pm

They are the only two around that time with female vocals (unless I missed one).

Nice to see Rob22 posting something positive in this music forum for a change. Even if he doesn't know the what the songs called. I don't know either but the description rings a bell.

I post things that are the truth, whether it be positive or negative.

I dont lie, and give false opinions, if there is a song, where I think the lyrics are pap - I tell the truth and speak my mind.

I dont say it to upset people, I dont say it to make people happy, I say it, because I'm being honest.

Thanks for the links - that a couple of posters provided, that was much appreciated, however I sadly didn't get much joy.

I cant remember the exact time I heard it, it was very close to 9.00 on Tuesday night, maybe something like 8.50, or 8.55, it was extremely close to 9.00, or it might have even been 9.00?

after the song had been played, I couldn't hear the DJ properly, but he said something about "daft punk" and "firefox" the word "fire fox" was used.

also in the lyrics, it was a computerized singing voice, saying something like:

"I'm something you can hear... and
I'm something you could fear"

and it also had a woman, who teamed up with the computerized voice, to make an incredible tune.

I wonder if it could be this?

LCD Soundsystem did a song a while back called "Daft Punk Is Playing At My House". Zane did play this song on Tuesday.

or, he also played this, which has a female vocal:

This?
It says it is by Kavinsky — Nightcall Feat. Lovefoxxx on the radio 1 archive.
It has similar lyrics and sounds a bit like Daft Punk.

All the threads (with the exception of this one) that you have posted in here have been along the lines of "I don't like this song by X it's so annoying" or "I hate Y's new song the lyrics are stupid" or "This new song by Z is terrible how can this be called music". That sort of thing.

The endless negativity gets very depressing. There is a lot of music that I don't like, but more often than not I wouldn't start threads telling everyone about it. I don't see the point.
