If she retires now because the offers don't meet her high standards you can't really blame her

I'm sure her team are trying to convince her to carry on - they will all be on percentages, but if she needs some personal space we should accept her decision, tough as will be for the viewing public


Of course there'll still be 'This is Your Life' to look forward to, and Kate Lawler Night on Channel 5 - maybe the annual interview on Parky with Billy Connelly and Rory Bremner, reminiscing about the good old days and what a card Dame Judi was...............
