FutureSex/LoveSounds was released in 2006! Can you believe it?!

That was nearly 4 years ago - surely there should be a new album in production? I checked his website but there is nothing to suggest anything exciting is happening in the near future.

According to IMDB.com he is working on a couple of movies.

It's a year old but still......

He sure likes to keep his fans waiting. He takes long gaps between albums that's for sure.

TBH, I prefer that to an artist who releases albums too frequently - it's good to build an appetite for new material - but he really should be working on something new at this stage, even if it's not to be released until later in the year or early next year.

Yeah I've been thinking the same thing recently. I keep browsing around the web but there's no suggestion that he's even planning anything. It's already been 4 years

He recently said he only wants to make music again when he feels the desire and passion to do it, because he can only be at his best when he's completely involved and devoted to it. So don't hold your breath, he's working on his record label (Esmee Denters) and wants to do movies and stuff. Although I can't stand him as a person, his music has always been really good, so it's a shame he's not feeling it anymore.

Hes already done collabs with Esmee/Timbaland/Ciara/T.I and plus hes working on his clothing line AND working to build up Esmee as an artist.

I personally dont think we'll hear any new stuff from him for a while now.. plus with Timbaland saying hes done with rnb and hip hop.. it kinda makes me think Timberlake will wait a little longer because the two are pretty good together and if Timbaland isnt gonna produce J.Ts album, i wonder who will
