Bump up needed. I think everybody ignored this thinking it was an April Fool, but it's legit!

EDIT: Your link didn't work, but I found it.

Wednesday 14 April 7pm-8pm Invasion of the Bane.

hmmm, are you sure it's just not the first episode only? That was a pilot completely unrelated to the first series after all.

Plus there's other kiddy friendly material straight after.

Although it appears to be a pilot, it wasn't in fact. The series had been commissioned and this was considered a holiday special.

Nice, wierd choice of channel to air it on though, home to such delights as My Penis And Me and Spastic or Plastic.

BBC3? A Sunday 3pm slot would have been better.

Thanks for "bumping" and correcting the link! I wondered why it didn't get any responses, I hadn't thought of the implications of the date - I'm sure the link worked when I originally posted it, perhaps RT changed their page location?

edit: Yep, they changed the programmeID. When I posted the link it was:
...programmeId=113590184...
and now it's:
...programmeId=113613718...

I think it's an interesting idea, trying to get a different, slightly older, audience to watch something that they wouldn't normally watch cos it was on CBBC.

It's not unrelated, it tells the origins of Luke, shows how Sarah Jane met Maria, and sets up the Bane for thier appearance in series 2

By unrelated I meant it wasn't a first series episode.

Is there any chance of them brining Roamano back

Wow, great news that this is getting an airing on "adult" telly. I missed the last couple of episodes of the most recent series, and hope they'll be round before long.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Technically, it is.

Still haven't seen the first series (have watched 2 and 3) in full, might use this as a chance to do so, still think it's an odd place and time to air it. BBC Two 5 or 6pm would be better (tween shows used to air there in the late 90s and do alright).
