Foxsat HDR Newbie - Green Screen
I've finally given up on the Digifusion and gone for FreeSat.
Having spent all morning up the ladder fitting the dish I'm now indoors to set up the new box. I have everything connected and power is getting through to the LNB to allow me to align things. Last thing then is to connect the HDMI cable and power up the box with TV on. I get the HUMAX welcome screen, while BOOT shows on the front of the box. BOOT changes to WIZARD and I get a quick ...please wait... and then a blank green screen. It must be something simple I'm not seeing, but there is nothing in the troubleshooting section of the manual or on the support website. Anyone out there have any ideas please. Thanks in advance Tony. |

Should have done this first, but I have just searched and it seems I am not alone.
Loewe Concept 32 by the way, which was fully updated following a new screen at Loewe just before Christmas. Off to try the scart route to set things up and check the dish. Any updates on this issue would be appreciated. |

Thanks Graham,
Switching everything off at the mains and making sure the hdmi source was selected on the TV before booting up the hdr worked. I've been though the initial set up and all is working well it would seem. I haven't tried to switch off and on again yet. There was an OTA update waiting for me, will this have any effect? Looking back through the archives, the correspondence seemed to dry up towards the back end of last year, does this mean a solution has been found, or are people just getting on with it. Thanks again Tony. |

Sounds like a call to Loewe on Tuesday for a software update then.
One other question, does the HDCP default have any bearing on this problem? I see that there is the option to enable of disable. Thanks, Tony. |
