coaxial connection
I have a coaxial connection from my dvd player to my home cinema surround, Yet when i pause things, or sometimes when it changes scenes, the picture is fine but the sound (only via the coaxial) flickers. Is this to do with the coaxial lead i own, or the dvd player?

Simon, I'm sorry I cant help with your specific issue but why, may i ask, are you not connecting your DVD player to your sound system (all-in-one or amp??) with an optical cable for wonderful 6 channel sound? Isnt this the point of it?

No my dvd player does not have an optical output, and my surround sound speakers came seperate to the player, so i connect via the digital out on the dvd player to the surround.
