I have never started a thread before so after 9 months I'm due to make some sort of an effort .

Same idea as 'favourite song by' thread . Change the singer / group daily .

This time simply name a song by the given group / singer which you do not appreciate .

We'll start with the Beatles

Yellow submarine for me

Agreed TC

Never liked this song - don't know why so many people have tried to cover it .

Must add that majority of Beatles stuff is pretty good though

'Hey Jude' is a dreary old thing.

I'm warming to this dissent to the supposed classics

Must admit I like 'Hey Jude' but it doesn't half go on a bit ! Maybe that's part of its appeal . Singles usually only lasted 2-3 mins in the olden days !

No, can't really think of any, but I'll give a reluctant vote to Back In The USSR

They released their fair share of pish.
I'll have 'Octopus' Garden' as well while I'm at it- thats excruciating.

Getting a bit fiesty around these parts .

So we'll shift away from the Sacrosanct Beatles and try Queen

So many empty, bone headed anthems to choose from....

'We Will Rock You' shades it

Must admit, although I can appreciate the musicianship, I too find a lot of the Queen catalogue a load of pompous old cock.

Don't Stop Me Now I find particularly irritating...

I dislike most of their stuff after 'Night At The Opera', but for this thread I nominate Radio Ga Ga.

I personally love Queen, over recent years however Killer Queen has started to grate on me a bit.
