This song was no.6 in the midweek charts. The highest new entry and estimates indicate it's going to climb even higher. Its the focus of a facebook group to see a Christian song high in the Easter charts. Remembering the reason we celebrate it

I love it. It's an amazing song. Taking the Christian stuff out of it for a minute - I find Delirious? an amazing band, incredibly tight when performing live. I was privileged to see them live several times and I was always amazed at how tight they were and how good their stage presence was.

They were! They had a few songs in the charts when they were together and were critically aclaimed by those who heard them. I think a radio 1 dj referred to them as hidden gem. They sound amazing live!

Christian rock is a total anathema to me, rock music should not be safe and preachy. Rock music should be sex and drugs, it should be dangerous. Not about getting a christian message out to the masses. I recall Delerious having minor hits years ago and it made me spit then. This song is pile of shit, favoured by people who clearly have no concept of good music, possibly Coldplay fans.

Amazing song- in its own right- and for the meaning behind it. Hope it gets to Number One- on merit and for putting Jesus back in the mainstream news this Easter.

I'd much rather a song about the true meaning of Easter, considering that this is the time that christians celebrate Easter. A bit of a reminder. Rather than a song opening preaching promiscuity, for example lady gaga.

Yep- Scouting For Girls' manager told em if they got in the top ten at Easter- they'd have done well, so that's praise indeed.

While im not a christian, why should all rock be pigeonholed into one topic of sex, drugs and rock'n'roll?? Should all rap be about bitches, ho's, niggas and gangstas? should all reggae be about lions and jah? should all R&B be about money, klurbs, shawtys and kristal?

I'm a Christian and I've seen Delirious? live, but was never a big fan of them.

Much rather the campaign have focused around my favourite Christian band - Deliverance, who play Christian thrash metal! Imagine Slayer but without the blasphemy!

I'm the same as you tbh - they're a good band, and as alluded to above very tight when playing live (althuogh, I was also present when they were leading worship rather than performing one time and Martin Smith did forget the words to one of the songs... ). Having said that, I still bought the track to show support of the cause.

(And before anybody says anything, I also bought the RATM track at Christmas too...)

IMO RATM was the worst choice of song for Christmas... worse than having a regurgitated X Factory cover even! I sympathise completely with the campaign and understand the significance of the title, but the song itself and the lyrics were so opposite to what Christmas is all about- peace, love and goodwill, I couldn't buy it.

I HAVE however just ordered Delirious? greatest hits on Amazon- £10 including delivery. Great, uplifting music with a great, uplifting message! I hope after this campaign Delirious? will attract a brand new audience as well as reclaiming some old fans like me!

Completely disagree with you here.

Standing up for what you believe in against all the odds; exposing corruption and injustice in the status-quo; refusing to conform to societies broken laws. If that isn't a Christ-like message, then I don't know what is.
