But that was a really bad choice. Nobody else can sing it.
At this stage I don't think it will harm her chances too much. She is very engaging and being a northern girl I really like her.
When the judges dismiss her as not having an especially strong voice, I basically turn a deaf ear. Their comments can be particularly inconsistent, and I'm sure there was one incident when one judge said the girl (possibly Bronte) had a weak voice and the other said she had the most beautiful voice.
I also lost some respect when that guy said that Sophie couldn't be Dorothy, although to be fair the question is presumably based on that one performance, is only used for effect and is ridiculous at this stage anyway.”
Graham did make a comment about the girls performing songs which they felt would show off their strengths as a leading lady. I wonder, if they do submit lists of potential songs, how long their lists are and if they adapt or add to them each week depending on what's happening and what everyone else is singing.
I thought Jessica gave the weakest performance last night, but had competition from a few other girls - who were less suited to the role of Dorothy. Jessica will be around for a few more weeks, which I don't mind, but she'd better not win!
It's early days, but I'm always going to want Stephanie to win, however fond I become of the other girls. If I'm lucky, ALW will agree!
