02 Surprises a con ?

most times i top up i get 50% off texts messages for a week, but have 300 free text messages. Is this a con by O2 ?

I got unlimited happy hour calls between 6pm and 7pm.
I think its a bit rich to call something a con just because you get a surprise you don't like!

Agreed and I'm a member of their community panel so told them as much when they asked my opinion about some changes to O2 priority list due to come in the next month or two

I agree, and think it's crackers people are complaining about getting something extra for nothing.

I got unlimited anytime MMS for my previous gold surprise, although to be fair the other two choices weren't the best.

They always seem to tailor them to things you already have. When I topped up and got my monthly free texts and minutes, Surprises would always give free texts or minutes. Now I swapped my bolt-on to free texts and internet, Surprises always give me free texts or internet time.

It is better with Gold though, because sometimes you can pick something slightly more relevant.

I'm over the moon with my 02 provision, I'm now able to phone and text my family and friends for free for £15 a month.

I've just recieved £6 back (I got a few quid back a couple of months ago or so)

Had loads of Gold Rewards such as free calls and half price over the last few months and no contract, just pay as you go.

Sim Card 1. 300 Free Texts.

Sim Card 2. 100 Free minutes.

Guess what 'surprises' I get?

I get for 1. card free texts

And for 2. I got 20 free minutes.

So as far as I am concerned it is a 'con'.
