Ray was the best. He's the best skater to have won (only Chris Fountain challenges him there imo) and his performance skill rivals Suzanne and Hayley.
Suzanne's probably next. I think she demonstrated more skating skill than Hayley and by the end of the series was absolutely sparkling on the ice.
I'd put Hayley and Kyran about equal. She's much better than him on performance but he's better on skating skill. She's still a fairly decent skater though and he did a lot with his performance skill during the series, especially considering his background.
And then, to quote Kyran, we have Gaynor Faye who won the first series... To be fair, it wasn't so competitive then and we didn't really know what to expect.

That is very true.
Ray Quinn.
I watched his first week performance on You Tube last week and he was so good even at that stage.
However, my favourite ever contestant has to be Chris Fountain. I just loved him and I would never get bored of watching him. He was robbed of the title in my opinion.

Ray - he was absolutely brilliant! In a different league! Difficult for the next two/three but I would say:

Really difficult to rank them. Ray was absolutely brilliant but I disliked him for no reason whatsoever, much as people took against Hayley in this series. Go figure. So the following is entirely subjective and based not on who was 'best' objectively but on my telephone bill:
1st - Hayley Tamaddon
2nd - Suzanne Shaw
3rd - Kyran Bracken
4th - Ray Quinn
5th - Gaynor Faye
Of the runner-ups (runners-up?): I adored Chris Fountain but Suzanne Shaw had a blinder of a final, ditto Kyran Bracken against Clare Buckfield. Chris and Clare were unlucky, as was (don't shoot me) Bonnie Langford.
