[quote=MrsRobinson;39400903]They do look pretty and I love their different coloured dresses like in Oliver. I have just noticed there are only three blondes so I wonder if they want a blonde or dark haired Dorothy... although I suppose they might wear a wig in the show so it maybe doesn't matter!
QUOTE]

I found it quite interesting that Kerry Ellis is wearing a wig for the role of Nancy - personally I've always seen the role as brunette but no reason on earth why she shouldn't be blonde. Same goes for Dorothy but you're right, any of these girls could wear a dark wig when they go down the inevitable Judy Garland route!

I'd say Lauren is probably the most "obvious" Dorothy ... now cut the back stories and start the singing!

I hope they are made to do some acting - this is the first one that has required an American accent. Remembering how horrific some of the cockney accents were last time, it could get interesting!

These two are as annoying as Lewis Bradley.

So she needs to show leading lady potential. So she's singing Pixie Lott. Hmmmmm ...

Like her voice though

Didn't really like that She was my favourite of the Dorothys before that too.

Stephanie 5/10

Stephanie needs to lay off the red lippy!

Stephanie is playing this way too sexy. Some of her facial contortions are even a little Judy-esque (yes, I know we are trying to move away from Judy but in reality, of course we're not!!!)

This performance tells me nothing about her ability to play Dorothy. Top note was not that strong but Dorothy's alto so it doesn't matter. Finding it a bit harsh and chavvy.

I don't think she will be favourite for very long.

Stephanie -Her arms are annoying me. She looks like she don't know what to do with them.
Not blown away by the song or performance either

Her lisp put me off. Sorry.

Am I allowed to discriminate on that basis these days?

Not impressed with Lauren's vocal but I do like the way she's performing this.

This girl is better than I remember, a bit screechy in parts though

A bit disappointed by Stephanie. I think I expected more for some reason.
Lauren has a great voice but it's not "Dorothy" like enough.

Never watched before but the girl in yellow had a beautiful voice.

after that... i think my bet on Lauren being first out might have been money well spent!

And here comes Lauren with a pop song that is starting off too low for her. Lovely middle range but it makes me question her ability to hit Dorothy's low notes. I like her control now she's getting to the more powerful notes - good emotion and not shouty.

Credible. Favourite so far!!!

Loved that!

Lauren better than Stephanie, but her facial expression is a bit OTT for me. It's all a bit earnest.
