Who can turn EE around?
lala

We've all complained about how bad it is, thats the harsh TRUTH!

However we haven't exactly come up with names of who we think could improve the show, what producers? what writers?

Come on then, lets mention and name them!

How about as a writer, at least for a short while, Russell T Davis to inject a bit of life into EE. His track record is pretty impressive and he can write serious drama as well as proper comedy and shows far more wit and understanding of human emotion and proper dialogue then anyone working on EE today. I completely hated Dr Who as a child (and adult), but I will watch the new one simply because he is writing it. Or failing that the wonderful Paul Abbot, he's even got the soap experience from his time of Corrie.

Ooh Paul Abbot yeh, did he write Channel 4's Shameless? am I confusing him with someone else? I remember seeing his name on something an I thought it was pretty good. Paul Marquess could be good aswell, I'm not a regular of the Bill but from what I remember of him at Brookie, he was quite good. Phil Redmond has already been mentioned in another thread, I think he could be good. I wonder would an old Producer come back though? I'd like John Yorke to come back to EastEnders and see if he could fix it up. In saying that it hasn't got the characters that made it great when John Yorke was there. I'd like to have a go at it, I think I could inject some life back into Walford! lol I'd do a Phil Redmond though an kill off half the cast and start from scratch though.
