I dont mean to label him or anyone else but thought it might be a known fact .To me he has alot of the signs , but as you say he may very well be just who he is .
Often the very intelligent can have some social problems and he is very very intelligent.
And altough I know to each his own etc , I find his finger pointing , especially when he points his middle finger at the girls , really really off puting and rude .

I was stupid enough to make quite a lot of money on I'd Do Anything - even though my favoured contestant didn't win.

Hopefully I'll be stupid enough to make several hundred quid on this show. Though I may not. The current favourite has a great chance imho. I've hedged her to break-even.

It's quite possible that one of the people I have discounted will unexpectedly emerge from the pack. But hey, I believe in this girl.”

Not to me!

Personally, I thought Danielle was one of the weaker ones tonight. But what do I know, I only "guessed" the winners of the 3 previous shows.

I didnt even realise this, the song lyrics made no difference for me. I did think she sounded the best in that song though, but i based that on her talent rather then the lyrics she'd been given and the camera doing a dramatic close up

And she was paired with the rank outsider and the total opposite looks wise in terms of Dorothy.

She was competent and nice and rather bland.

And to be fair, the panel weren't entirely gushing and did offer points for improvement.

So who have you predicted as the winner this time then?

Personally, I think Danielle is one of the best along with Bronte, Sophie and Lauren (for her voice) and would love Danielle to win.

I thought that the chosen one was Bronte?

I thought the chosen one was Jess.

Parachuted into Dorothy Farm after being dropped by the other 3 judges, on ALW say so?

Then tonight when she didn't give a great vocal, but an excellent performance, he says it's not all about the vocal.

All this goes to prove that there is no chosen on then!

I did notice that, but as it's a yellow brick road in WOO I was a bit puzzled.

Must admit I had my suspicions about Danielle being the hand picked winner but don't like to start threads on conspiracy theories mainly because of people's reactions.

It's more on Big Brother though where 9 times out of 10 you can spot the producer's favourite by the end of the first week

I think Mr. ALW has been having a chat with Mr.Cowell on the more subtle tactics of getting your favourite to win because he has been soooooo bad at it so far. All 3 of his have failed at the last couple of hurdles.

I went to the show tonight. I really enjoyed it. I am not going to confirm the result as they asked us not to, and specifically namechecked Digital Spy (gulp).

As for this Chosen One stuff I have unleashed, the show has confirmed two things I thought beforehand. Firstly, with the last line in her song and with Andrew's ruby comment afterwards, he might as well have walked onto the stage and handed Danielle a little doggie and a pair of slippers. For those of you who enjoy the more arcane references, at the end Andrew described the singoff song as something Dorothy might sing - a song of hope and yearning. I will have you stretching further than the queue for the studio to diss me when I point out that Danielle's last name is Hope. We'll see if he makes hay out of her surname in future weeks.

But, also, I feel a bit uneasy because I think Danielle is not a belter like some of the other girls are. She didn't really blow me away tonight. I worry that the talents she has will only be effectively showcased with very, very carefully chosen songs.

So I am not too confident that I will collect on my bet. But she's undoubtedly the one Andrew favours at the moment.

It was an enjoyable and interesting evening. I'd recommend it.

Nb I haven't seen Danielle sing it on the telly yet; maybe it will be more effective on there.

Ps Stephanie, you didn't need the luck I wished you just before the show started; I thought you were great!

So it's okay for them to visit the forum for free market research purposes, but we can't have an edge when it comes to advance info?

Go on - who else was in the sing off?

I can't. I was looking forward to spilling the beans, but it wouldn't be right. It was a really nice evening. And it was Graham as well as the warm-up guy who asked us not to. It was Graham's birthday. You can't kick a man on his birthday!

I think you simply misheard and they actually said Stephen Fry.

Easy mistake, mind.

Well the BBC should not be so stupid as to have another Sunday results show if they dont want the result to leak out.

You can when it's Irish, it's tradition.

Well past midnight now, so his birthday is gone, mine is much nearer..it's on friday, so who was in the sing off with the one already mentioned in the spoiler thread?

Threecheeses, I've just checked on Wikipedia. They lied to us. LIED to us. His birthday is Sunday (today now), not yesterday.

Ergo, sadly, the universal rule about not kicking a man on his birthday is still in effect.

Never again will I sing happy birthday to a celebrity before verifying on Wikipedia.

I feel violated.

So Danielle not great live either.

If she is the chosen one, then I can see him choosing someone else very soon.
