Has anyone seen these virals on you tube?

I really love the music..... very dark goldfrapp/ladytron/portishead .... similar to the music i make. I think I now know who the artist is and I have to say that I really like their debut album ...but I really hope that this is their pseudonym and that they release music like this. Fingers crossed...I have just downloaded b from i-tu ...this is the viral that just tell you visually who it is.

Great Hype Machine and wonderful Music

Yeah, there's been a thread here, and one in showbiz discussing who is behind it.

Who do you think it is? Because I've yet to be convinced by any name put forward.

Yeah we already know the artist is listed with STIM so Sweden is a pointer.

But that only narrows it down to a lot of people that have been named as candidates already.

And Jonna Lee makes little sense. I'm not being rude, but realistic.

Everyone is saying Jonna Lee now. I was convinced it was Christina, but I am kind of glad it's not because I like it

New song uploaded on Amazon tonight! Its called "O" and is apparently the music from the sixth video minus the guitar. Expect a new video soon then! Possibly tomorrow.

O sounds quite dark and a little bit industrial... something like Portishead or even Goldfrapp's earlier stuff (just form the clip I heard on Amazon). People who have heard it are 100% convinced the voice on Jonna Lee's.

http://www.last.fm/music/iamamiwhoami/O/O - In full.

I have to say I am so far disappointed. It started to sound like it had something really good, but this just sounds like just another 80s inspired track. This kind of stuff has been done a lot better.

The song goes nowhere. It doesn't build up to anything, it's quite repetitive, there seems to be very little change in the music for the entire 6+ minutes. Oh well.

Id much rather have it go nowhere than have to endure an album of pretentious wank which is tries to hard to sound cool and otherworldly. Its almost like people are frightened of the uniform beats and structure. Also, 80s? Its got some synthpop leanings but other than that, I see no 80s in it at all.

It's boring. I am a big fan of subtlety in music, but this doesn't do anything for me. I was expecting something a bit new but this isn't.

I don't think anyone is frightened of it. It's nothing new. This stuff was being done by The Knife years ago, which is probably why a lot of people thought it was them or Karin (it still might be... but everyone is insistent that it's Jonna Lee).

so ..there as been a b ....a b remix by tara...and and an o

the number 6 seems significant .....

and sweden is obviously the home ground ...wood

So who is it .......

My clever guess is that it is indeed a 6 musician collab...

But overall I believe that it is .... Royksopp (2 people) ...with:

Jonna Lee;
Lykke Li or Robyn not sure which;
the knife (2 people)

So there you go ... and this could possibly be the autumn 'Senior' album

Have there been any new updates? It seems to have gone quiet again. How many more videos do we reckon there'll be?

The long delays are going to affect the point of the viral promotion. People are getting bored.

I keep hearing about this iamamiwhoami, I ought to have a look/listen.

I only know that Trent Reznor has publicly denied having anything to do with it.

I read it as I am, am I? Who am I?

The Ami version does make a bit more sense. Is it a clue, or just a reveal of a stage name?

The updates are now seemingly almost monthly as in new 'single' releases.
