Love the new titles but crikey me hate the new theme. What does everyone else think? Sounds so cheap and tacky.Bring back the previous music with the new titles is what I say.

They're a bit Sarah Jane touch for my liking!

Surely you haven't had time to do that, if you was actually watching the episode?

Like the theme when it kicks it, like the title sequence. I think the first segment of the music is a bit weak though.

Didn't like the music the first time at the start was a bit better at the end.

Sounded a bit "old fashioned adventure" type music instead of the "smack in the face scream" that it was.

Give it a few weeks and I'll probably like it.

Titles were OK. (ish)

Sure the music will grow on me - the titles tho are really good!

were those titles just for this episode, to reflect that the tardis was about to crash? or are they now permanent? not sure how I feel about them yet....

Would have loved to hear it at the end but the wretched continuity announcer spoke all over it!

Supposed to be waiting for my other half to get in from work to watch it - but decided to take a sneeky preview at the opening sequence ---- shhhh!

Still waiting for them to get home to watch the rest.

Don't like the music, think the titles are a bit messy.

It's certainly weird to hear a new theme like that, as I imagine it would have been to those lucky enough to experience New Who after growing up on Classic Who. But the second time was better, and I'm sure it will feel natural after the second episode. I personally loved it.

Didn't like it. Looked tacky. Hate the new logo, it looks like it was designed by an 8 year old. The music isn't punchy enough and very weak. Watched about 20 minutes and it's like the whole thing has lost it's maturity and gone more along the lines of a kids programme like Sarah Jane. Matt Smith not only looks weird but I find him very childish in his acting trying too hard to be funny and I feel the new doctor will lose the more mature audience that DT built up.
I found it very immature and way too much blue screen. I feel it's taken a huge step backwards and will lose alot of viewers that joined during the 9th and 10th doctor's episodes.

Must admit I thought the music was gonna be terrible until the recognisable part of it kicked in. Think it's a grower but it's okay. Titles are cool, shame we didn't have Matt Smith in the titles as rumoured.

The theme I can live with. The incidental music ruined the show.

I wasnt keen on the new title sequence. I hope it will grow on me however.

I didn't like either. The font used on the titles is way too blocky, and the time tunnel effect looks like a fallopian tube. Horrible.

I imagine that in time it will grow on me but it needed to be a bit more fast paced like the old one . I thought the Tardis was a bit over done. Apart from that I loved the episode

It was a real 'Trial of a Timelord' moment for me - we've waited all that time and then had this really underwhelming new theme tune.

The new title sequence is surprisingly poor too. It just made me think of all the 'fan' videos on YouTube I've seen. You'd never know it was produced by the BBC's special effects professionals.

Lucky the episode itself was so good.

The titles will take getting used to.

Thought the opening titles were a bit "meh" to start with. Just watched them again and I think they'll grow on me. Hate the new theme music though - still, I loved the first episode so I'm not dwelling on that too much.

Hated the new music - loved the visuals though. Not keen on the new logo - preferred the original one they released in October. Everything else was perfect though. Great episode though which made up for it. Hopefully Murray Gold will try and revamp it again.

I liked the new opening credits. The tune seems a bit slow but oh well. I really like it. I love everything new about it. You can't keep things like the tardis and opening credits the same. Everything needs a shake up after a few years.
