1. Bronte - surprised they said she wasn't one of the strongest singers, thought she absolutely shone.
2. Lauren - slightly questionable lower notes but beautiful tone and lots of potential. A musical theatre singer in between a lot of X Factor wannabees
3. Sophie - another musical theatre girl who struggled slightly with shouty pop but she has lovely on stage personality and I want to hear her sing a show song
4. Danielle - boring song but she has the right type of voice and presence and I hope she gets a chance to show more
5. Stephanie - a bit harsh and shouty in places but she's quite "Judy" and personality comes over well
6. Jenny - didn't like the song but she played it well, again ... potential is there
7. Steph - good pop singer, don't get the hype for this though. Get ye to X Factor
8. Amy - totally wrong for this, has taken the place of a real contender (and there were many who made the top 20 who should have taken her spot) just for the interest of having a glamour girl. Not her fault but disappointing none the less.
9. Dani - totally overrated and, as usual with these shows, I heard something totally different to the judges as I see no potential at all
10. Jessica - over-acting and shouty vocals. Not keen.
11. Emilie - seemed completely out of her depth which is a shame as I liked her. Hope she has built up enough momentum to get through and shines next week

I'm sorry, some names I don't know yet.

1. Danielle - I just love her. She's perfect for the part, I love her personality, look and voice. She's so cute!
2. Jessica - Extremely likeable, has a quality that draws you into the performance. Vocals are just okay but she makes up for it. Looks a bit like Liza Minelli.
3. Redhead girl? - I really like her look and her vocal was very good. Seems lovely too.
4. Stephanie (Liverpudlian)- I really like her and her voice is very good. Her look and song choice last night were a bit off but she has a lot of potential.
5. Bronte I thought she would be in my top 3 but she slightly disappointed me. Acting wasn't great but she has the look and voice.

The rest were meh for me and I can't think who Lauren is? The only ones I really dislike are Jenny (so irritating and looks too old), Amy (seriously? Over Claire Harbourne and Katie?) and the fringe girl with dark hair who sang "Run". All too old looking even though I know Jenny is only 18.

This one is Lauren.

Three groups:

Good

Steph - fabulous voice, polished performance and came across as sincere.
Bronte - just a lovely vocal, needs a bit more experience.
Sophie - sounds as if actually might have a musical theatre voice, would like to hear her sing something more suitable.
Amy - surprisingly good!

Bad

Emilie - what is there to say? Truly appalling and I should think the more talented wildcard girls who didn't get through were squirming.
Dani - just seemed to give up and start singing a different song in the middle. Too much emphasis on "I'm the baby so make allowances". Awful vocal.
Jessica - don't even get me started! Her performance left me speechless - apart from 'No - no - no (more)!'
Jenny - just plain annoying, appears to think she's better than she actually is.

The others just made no impression on me either way. No doubt a good singer will get voted out and the awful ones will stay.

Mine would be the same except I would reverse Jenny and Sophie and I think I prefer Lauren to Bronte. Dorothy should have dark hair.

Stephanie 5 - I absolutely love her voice in the alto register, gorgeous, gorgeous tone. However, there was no storytelling or real interpretation going on here - she could have been singing about anything. This is quite harsh, but so far, I'm seeing no soul. She's like a painted dolly up there, entertaining, but no connection or truth in the performance

Lauren 7 - absolutely beautiful voice and a lovely, sincere interpretation. A very strong contender. I'm not sure how much edge she has though, so I'd like to see her do something rockier next week

Steph 5 - I'm a big fan of Steph's voice. But nothing in this performance showed me she could be Dorothy. She has a nice look for the part though - I want to see her do a musical theatre number

Dani 3 - okay, so the performance was out of tune, awkward, mannered and downright uncomfortable to watch. But she is so young and it's difficult for even the most experienced performers to get their bearings and their notes out there. She definitely has something though, her interpretation of the start of the song was lovely. She's our "journey" contestant and she's got Andrew's backing.

Amy 5 - I have no problem with Amy's look for Dorothy. And she's got a super voice. I'm not seeing any evidence of being able to act though. And I fricking hate that song.

Danielle 8 - If I was casting the part in the morning, I'd give it to Danielle. Her presence is absolutely perfect. Quiet assurance, determination, down to earth likeability. As a performer, she is so attractive to watch. Great actress. Not the very best voice in the competition though.

Emilie 3 - oh Emilie, Emilie, Emilie. Has the personality in bucketloads and is exactly the type of character viewers fall in love with. On the basis of last night has a long way to go on the vocals

Bronte 6 - There are lots of great voices in this competition, but I think Bronte's is the most beautiful. (I don't know what JP is rabbiting on about). The interpretation is not there yet though and she is not convincing me as an actress

Jessica 6 - aw, I adore this girl and I loved this performance. Hammy, fun, kooky, gawky, there are lots of things here that she could bring to Dorothy. Vocals are competent, but no more than that.

Jenny 7 - I wasn't actually getting the Jenny love from the panel, but the more I think of it, the more I realise it's incredibly difficult to get up there and just go all out the way she did. We've seen some terrible attempts in the past. An interesting prospect for Dorothy, but I really need to see her do something that isn't rock chick.

Sophie 8 - I wasn't getting the Sophie love either, but she was mesmirising last night. Real star quality. The voice is superb - especially in the lower register. She has a real magnetic quality on stage, I couldn't take my eyes off her. I'm not sure she's Dorothy, but she's a real find.

”

No arguments from me, but I think she's a little more Liza than Judy, and I think that will weigh greatly in her favour.

1. Stephanie - Great voice, great personality, great performer - and very brave to be on first! Hope she wins!

2. Emilie - Nervous, but is likeable, has vocal potential and the right look for Dorothy. Also liked her song choice as it fits in with Dorothy's story

3. Danielle - Made Red her own, sang well, with good diction - could be believable in the role.

4. Bronte - Lovely mature voice, put herself in the running without being an obvious standout.

5. Sophie - Not keen on the song, but she delivered it well - perhaps until the end. May need work on her diction, but her image could work in the role of Dorothy.

6. Steph Fearon - Loved her voice, she could well have been my favourite on last year's X Factor. She could even work in Thriller Live, but she's too sophisticated for Dorothy.

7. Lauren - Sang well until her key change when I found her too shouty, she had to follow Stephanie which didn't help, but she didn't seem to be enjoying herself as much as Stephanie.

8. Jenny - Didn't sing particularly well, sounded very Glee - at least she made an effort with her performance and showed personality - and last week, she proved herself vocally.

9. Dani - Didn't like her vocals (though again, proved she can sing last week) but at least she has potential to fit the role of Dorothy. Perhaps she just needs a confidence boost, and to pick more suitable songs which don't require tons of backing.

10. Amy - Vocally more of a girlban member performance, though better than you'd expect given her bad publicity. She doesn't look or come across as Dorothy though.

11. Jessica - Found it hard to decide the order of my bottom 4, but while I'd commend \Jessica for trying something different, do I see Dorothy in rehab? No, no, no! I'm very surprised she's doing so well at the bookies. She has potential, but her vocals were all over the place.
