Which past characters would you like to see return? I know there are that cannot but who you do want back?

I want Rose back! I miss Rose! I know it would probably be best not to have her back though as the show has moved on. I loved her in all of her appearances, although her ending on Journey’s End was stupid.

i was hoping in the end of time pete tyler returned as well so i hope he returns with rose maybe sometime but only as a brief cameo and then maybe in a couple of series make a bigger return and also i would like to see more of martha and mickey now they are married. see what they are like as a couple and maybe how rose reacts to them being married.

Sally Sparrow. Actually, I've always wanted to know what the Doctor (Tennant) and Martha were in the middle of when Sally spoke to them. I guess we never will now...

Thats a good shout tbh. I liked that characted and it was always talked about her returning so i'd like her to return at some time and K-9 i want to return at some time. Shame Astrid can't return though and the noble family. In fact i think the noble family should return. they would be the ones i would like to return most out of all of them.

Just thought of another one i'd love to return and im sure somewhen she will do. The Doctors daughter. I'd like to see how she re acts to seeing her dad as a different person.

I would love Sally to come back but I suspect that Carey is too A-list now.

She would have made the perfect companion. Sigh....

Mind you, the Angels are coming back so hopefully they will squeeze in a reference.

I think River Song will be the new Captain Jack. Popping in to keep in line with the established story.

Would love to see a multi-doctor episode, i know RTD was completely opposed to that (though he did do that short one for Children In Need i think it was) maybe Moffat isn't.

Tom Baker would be the Doctor i'd most like to see again, maybe he's a bit old now.

Well Moffat did Time Crash, not RTD, so perhaps...

If Rose comes back I will seriously question Dr Who and my own intentions to watching this superb show any longer.

He was only on that because Freema turned out to be unavailable after they wrote the story involving UNIT.

I'm not sure why they were otherwise reluctant to bring him back. I can see why they might not want him in a major part, but surely they could have found a way to include him in the ATMOS two-parter, perhaps on a videoconference.

Moffat has said he's not thrilled with bringing back characters just for fun. Has to be a good story for them. Most of the RTD-era return visits weren't for a good story reason. I'd say Sarah Jane's was, and so was Rose's in Turn Left (NOT in Journey's End).

I loved Rose; in fact, she was my favourite companion ever. But her time has gone. I don't want to see her come back now.

I agree. If Rose was to come back, I say give it at least 10 years or so ( that's if the show is still going / strong then ).

agree 100% with that and for any one else of the last few series I certainly think the brigadier, should get one last appearence but I think that's the only past character i'd like to see return.

Martha & Mickey - I'd love to see their married life together.
Donna - I just would love to see Donna back, full stop!
