Humax Foxsat-HDR question for users!
GenieNitro

Hello there,

I am thinking of getting a Humax Foxsat-HDR to replace my aging 9200t. (My flat has a satellite feed as well as the terrestrial arial).

I like to archive programmes occasionally via the usb and edit them in Videoredo so I can burn them to DVD.

Is it possible to do this on the Foxsat? I think I read that one can copy programmes onto a USB stick via the front USB port and get them into the PC that way... Is anyone here doing that successfully?

Thanks very much in advance for your advice!

Yes you can do this with no problem for SD material. HD material recorded in freesat mode is encrypted so you can't use these on a PC. Videoredo works fine with hdr .ts files.

Uploading a clip for you to play with be back in 15 mins with a link so you can download it to have a play
