Yes, I'm aware I'm very bitchy. But please forgive me dear forumites, I did try not to look and concentrate on the vocals...then I thought The Gap was far more interesting.

I think Sophie is strikingly pretty. Her colouring is beautiful.

I find Jenni hard to watch. Her eyes are so close together. Jessica is just loud - in every way - and a bit coarse. And that speaking voice - ye Gods! Aaarghhhhh!

I've liked Danielle from the word go. I had her, Dani, Lauren and Sophie down as my best girls.

I'm now in favour of Danielle and Sophie, but am still waiting for the latter to come and really blow their socks off.

On the pretty thing - I was behind Sophie's mum and aunt in the queue for the toilet (that's who I would bet it was, right kind of age, one of them looked very similar to Sophie.) The one who I reckon was an aunt was on the phone whilst queuing after the live show had finished and she was talking very loudly in a lovely Welsh accent how proud they all were and how 'gorgeous' Sophie had looked. Thought that was sweet

That's really nice. It must be difficult being part of the F&F's on something like this - almost as hard as being an actual contestant.

I think Phillippa was probably the prettiest of the Top 20, but out of the top 11 I'd say Dani. I would guess that within 5 years Jessica's going to be either much better looking or much uglier than all of them combined. She's just got one of those faces.

I like Sophie's hair, and she looked amazing in the Chicago number - definitely one of the prettier ones, but she can look a bit draglicious at times.

I so don't want to be shallow and support the most strikingly beautiful, but I probably will anyway.

However, from your favoured list, I would immediately strike two out (even though one of them will probably actually win it), while a third - Dani - despite having the obvious potential of a terrific voice - just somehow seems too raw and young, even though she is bizarrely hoping to play a twelve-year old.

I actually really rate Jenny as a singer , and it should be remembered that Dorothy is principally an acting role, which she could also do.

Meanwhile, for all your dislike of Jessica, I think there is something quite engaging about her, although on balance she is probably just too uncomfortable to watch.

But at the moment, I'm not looking beyond two of the girls.

Sophie reminds me of one of those 1930s pin-up posters. She looks a Dorothy of that era. Too bad her performance to date isn't up to scratch because I can see myself getting behind her if her performances pick up. We'll see.

I liked Phillipa too, if you remember she originally arrived with her sister Jolene, who failed to get through to the last 50.

But she eventually blew it with a real half-arsed performance.

If the chosen Dorothy doesn't have dark hair and bear a passing resemblance to Jude (if you squint a bit) I will be knock down with a featherable.

Jolene was rejected right off the bat, possibly because she looked about 10 years too old for the part.

I think everybody who had to be part of that horrid Taylor Swift/Blood Brothers deserves some sort of pity, no matter how half-arsed they were. Even Recorder Girl.

I searched 'Sophie Evans' in Google after in her appreciation thread the OP said "don't type her name into Google, unless you like that thing of course ". When someone says this kind of thing you have to look, don't you? I was surprised to see some rather more unsavoury results that I had hoped. Two lessons learnt: curiosity kills the cat and The Internet Is For Porn.

Oh and one other thing: "Sophie Evans" doesn't sound very Hungarian to me so why can't she just bugger off, change her name to something like Ada Magyar and the lovely Welsh Sophie Evans can have an unsoiled name.

When I was watching the youtube video of the top 20 episode I couldn't help noticing how much better Sophie performed in those to what she has done for the last two weeks. If she can get her nerves in check hopefully she'll start to improve.

Yes, I agree about Lauren's mouth, very offputting. I don't like the gap, it's just too big to be cute.
