Bronte's two large front teeth and the general shape of her nose and face put me in mind of my friend's rabbit, sorry just couldn't take her seriously.

There has been a lot of comment on how naff the "handing over of the shoes" is, so I have decided that the departing would-be Dorothy should instead peel off her very long false eyelashes instead.

Other suggestions for improvements:

Any surviving Dorothy who blubs all the way through the departee's Over the Rainbow, should have 10,00 votes deducted from the following week's score.

Emilie and Jessica have to sing wearing a blindfold so that they can't goggle their eyes to convey emotion.

Either they all have male backing dancers or no-one does.
It's not fair distracting John Partridge.

ALW has to run all his amusing anecdotes past the producer in advance, which means they will not get used, as they are dire.

Can your friend's bunny sing?

If so, it is more likely to win than some of these girls....

Not a bit, so should fit in.

I was far more impressed by the acting skills of the Toto hopefuls, and a couple could sing.

Charlotte has to give her opinion without using the phrase 'welly from the belly' or the words 'instrument' and 'like'.

I think they should all be made to perform on roller skates.

Then if they are crap Graham Norton could rush out and shove them off-stage, while security simultaneously open the main doors and let them straight out into the street and into the path of an oncoming lorry.

Come to think of it that's why they are so many missing teeth and dodgy mouths around in this competition, they've probably run slap bang into head on lorries before.

We need more acting challenges not fewer.

No they have to keep these. I think it may actually be a secret acting test for the girls, as they have to look appreciative and entertained, and perhaps throw in an appropriately timed giggle, whilst really inside they're screaming "Just tell me if you think I'm any good"

Yes I think they are funny too.

She smiles sweetly while thinking almost aloud: 'For God sake stop waffling on about some 'old-timer-that-I've-never-even-heard-of' called Betty Hutton and just tell me what you really thought you sponged-faced idiotic moron.'

I agree with you on everything basically. =] Also I liked Steph from the beginning, but Sophie and Danielle are now my faves and Sophie is so beautiful.

I agree with these, Lauren has turned out to be a bit too precise and mannered. Love Steph's voice. I would have preferred Tasheka as the wild card instead of Emily, or even Camille, a French Dorothy - oh why not.

Then we would be left with the least annoying, not the best or most popular.

I 'm telling you Jessica would have been first out if you could vote people out. The desire to despose of has to be there, and it just isn't really with Amy and Bronte.

Not saying that I hate Jessica, but I can see why some people might take a dislike to her.

Just after Bronte hands her shoes to Lauren at the end, Lauren gives her a grin and does a fist pump gesture.
I'm sure that Lauren was saying something like "give it a welly from the belly"
but it DID look like she was saying
"Yay- Another one down....."

And Danielle's forehead should be heavily botoxed, so that she can't frown throughout an entire song to convey - well, everything really.

Oh man I think you're taking that too far. Call me naive and whatever but I genuinely saw it as a 'be strong, give it your all in this song' gesture. I think sometimes people, not just specifically you mimi, try to see things that aren't there and therefore lull themselves into thinking things that are totally wrong. Okay so she is very confident, but I don't think Lauren seems like the nasty type at all.

I'm sorry kate89, but did you actually read my post?

Charlotte's favourite phrase "Give it a welly from the belly" and your phrase "be strong, give it your all in this song" are pretty similar.

I said I was sure that was what she meant.
Then I said it LOOKED like something else.

I did not say Lauren was nasty.

Yeah I did read your post but from the way it came across with the capitalised 'did' and looked like something else seemed to sway what you meant there. We've clearly got our wires crossed so never mind.

I am unappreciating this forum not having moved to the main page yet. For some reason having to click on the 'Reality TV' link before getting here makes me feel a little dirty......
