OOh, I don't know - Nick Clegg morphing more and more into David Cameron's mini-me (they are now virtually separated at birth identical ) is a tad off putting.

As long as they hold off from stroking the footwear we should be OK, though.

BTW can I just have a wee rant about the conspiracy theorists .... I know it's part of the fun, and I know the show is somewhat manipulated, but ffs get a life

(PS I know that's a somewhat ironic that I should say get a life what with not having one myself but it was the most appropriate phrase to express my feelings)

Another life lesson best learnt as early as possible.

Was Lauren's mouth always like that? Is it just more noticable now that Stephanie has departed?

What's happened to DS? Everything is the same but different ... head hurts.”

I thought it was just me, after 4 hours sleep since Saturday...
I've tried upping the scale of the screen and it's WHOAH!!! Too Close!!

Just to let you know that Monkseal's blog about the Saturday show is now online for our delectation and delight. I think it's the best yet.

I would like to appreciate Monkseal's blog, which I think is one of the funniest things I have ever read and must take ages to do, whilst unappreciating the foul language with which it is peppered.

I just don't think it's necessary to use THAT word all the time in order to be funny.

it is only a word, words can't hurt unless they are spitefully used. I don't get it, swears are made up words, why do people find them offensive to read.

Lack of humour and priggishness usually

Neither have I. I'm equally

If one is that precious, perhaps one should not read it? Terribly simple solution, n'est ce pas?

Oh, for goodness' sake! You think because I don't choose to say (or want to read) f*ck every couple of sentences I'm priggish with no sense of humour? You may speak like that but I don't and nor do my family. I think it's degrading and unnecessary.

As to the poster who's never noticed it - go back and have a look! You can't miss it.

I've been one who has been often frustrated with the use of foul language as a substitute for humor in a lot of modern culture, but I have no problems with someone using foul language when it works in the piece and is not just a shock-value cop-out to get a cheap laugh. I do not see the language in Monkseal's blog as a cop-out or trick. It works in the flow of the writing, and it doesn't bother me.

As a special bonus favour for appreciating my genius, for the next recap, you can pre-pick one swear, and I will replace it throughout, where I would have used it, with the word of your choosing. Do try to make it funny, I don't want to have to do all the legwork.

Someone in the comments is saying that I hate Lauren because I'm gay. I can't even get my head round that. The only people I know who LIKE Lauren are gay men.

I went back and had a look and he used the F word twice in a reasonably lengthy blog and in each instance it was used as part of the humour. I personnally don't find that excessive or offensive, and at the end of the day it's a humourous piece written on a personal blog that we can chose to read or not, it's not like this was the show's review for the Radio Times.

She's my favourite (although I'm so keen on Steph now that I might just be being stubborn). And I'm a straight woman.

Though I love Danielle, I think using the verb 'pretend' as a swear word would be ace (in the 'pre ten den' style mayhaps)

And - I love your work!!!

Excellent blogs this week. I managed to get through them by yesterday and have now recovered. Favourite bit I think was the Tamsin rant!!

I suggest for your sake that the chosen word is not (copy/paste) Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious. Tricky getting it into verb form - (copy/paste) Supercalifragilisticexpealidociousing?
