Do it, do it. I need one to keep me going.

I'm all set up, with bottle of Pinot and stack of ironing, meal timed to be eaten between first and second show.

Anyone up for a chatter?

I won't even DARE look at the index page afterwards!

Just got in from a day spent in the garden, yeah good weather, sorry but I already got stuck into a Pimms while waiting for dinner to cook and am watching American Idol, that Casey is purdy I'll give him that.

Not really, just thought I should it looks better , took it into the shower with me, nothing like a lovely hot shower after a day spent on your hands and knees in the garden, must admit the plants are looking good.

Lovely, thanks.

Sophie did well with a truly horrendous song (In my opinion, of course)

The favourites coming up now

Oh dear Lauren..that last note was ill-advised

And really, the whole song made her sound like a 28-year-old to me, rather than like a Kansas farmgirl...

unfortunately looked far too stage school and the acting was rather fake 'girlish'. What is it she does with her mouth and chin? Weird.

And she's one of the ones who sort totter about the stage instead of just walking. Very affected - yes, that's the word. I thought that was very 'am dram'

Oh well said Sheila, 'bit eyes and tits!'

Sorry Sheila, but I thought that last note was not quite on song, even though of the three left she is my favourite (that put the kaibosh on her). Be interesting to see the song he gives Danielle, so far I don't think the first two have been done any favours.

well Andrew the 2nd favourite has been, now for the beloved

Clearly Sheila doesn't give a hoot and is not planning to do another series!

(I HATE that song from Annie, mainly cos it's normally sung by a precosious (sp?) brat, but I liked what Sophie did with it)

Am I the only one who thought that Lauren was Pitchy on that last note?
Mango- you're the singer?

Andrew must hate Danielle to give her THIS song!

Used to be, yes. The judges must have been listening to a different last note to me - it sounded awful through the medium of my TV!

The shoes and that frightful outfit didn't help either. What were they thinking?

to make them all do that song. Danielle was the most natural and Sophie the cutest.

Lauren is still 'am dram' and over acting constantly. She can't do subtle.

I liked Sophie in that- she went for the accent.

I was sure that Dave was going to cock a leg on Graham, since he is dressed as a post box!

Are we finished with the dogs now? Please say it's so!

Right top two. Well done GBP. I'd like Sophie to win -for her sake - but I'll never go to the show so it hardly matters.

Tra la.

Oooh, the God of food, Nigel Slater, is my downfall. I've eaten too much
