I so loved the first album....it was alternative but grew in your mind after many listens.... it was deeper than your average popular record but became popular becuas emany began to enjoy the experience.....
so the sophomore album begins...and they havce reinvented themselves .... with the 'no singles on this album' ...but strangely this album is more mainstream than before and for that reason is dull and like many indie bands...the spark before wasnt about being mainstream but individuality so diaspappointing

I love Congratulations. Sure, not as catchy as Oracular Spectacular, but still just as good I think
![]() And the video for Flash Delirium is just godlike. |

Congratulations is not as "alternative" as they lead us to believe. After listening it more in tune with the latter half of Oracular Spectacular. "Flash Delirium"... with it's free download and video is simply a single release in disguise. Why shoot a video if they never wanted a single?!
They need to stop trying to be "alternative" and just continue making good music. They are not bigger than their music, so please shut up pretending to be cool and just make good music. |

I will not judge their new album until I hear it. The single 'Flash Delirium' is far from "mainstream" though.

The whole album is streaming up there for free, along with the video for Flash Delirium. |
